Lets see what other QBs were waived. I think there are far better QB's on the street starting this afternoon then Cooper. Cooper will most likely be back up for one week and then the new guy will be here and they will have ten days to get him ready to backup Dac for week 2.

Gilbert has a 10 cent head unfortunately, I'm not sure he has the processing ability to be an NFL QB.

Neither of these choices were great, but then again there's probably 20 teams that can't even find a decent starting QB, so it's extremely difficult to have a good backup.
