I'm surprised no one else commented on this. He is a huge liability against the run and his pass rushing skills are limited. Nevertheless, it was worth the gamble in signing him given the options on that roster during free agency.

Its why he isn't getting more playing time... He doesn't play the run. At all.

He cant seal gaps, he cant stand his ground, he cant rip and pull.... hes just not a good player unless you're up 2 scores in the 4th and you want to rest a starter

I'm guessing that the thinking was that Davis and Mayowa are on par with each other so let the guy with fresh legs play.

I think also that Mayowa might be the only "speed" rusher we have.
