.. .I just came upon this. Article stating, rumors flying to bench Gallup.

Give Tolbert a shot. Gallup's WR stats are not very appealing. Biggest one, cant find separation.

Im all for it. Lets see what Tolbert can do.

Scope here: Gallup

Definitely give Tolbert and Turpin more snaps.

I never thought I would say this, but also give Dowdle more snaps...

Also, send all of Jerry's Lawyers to Zack Martin's house and tell hiim that he must play better or they're going to take back the extra money they gave him...
- He wiffed about a dozen times in the Niners game.

Right but he's had three injuries and I think those leg injuries are bothering him and when they're asking him to pull and try to get to a guy he's not getting there has something to do with that but yeah the money Jerry was right at first didn't want to pay him why because it's his last contract the guy is older but he caved and we still need Zach Martin so it has to be what it has to be but that is hilarious bro Jerry probably landed his helicopter in Zach Martin's backyard and asked for a refund:muttley::lmao:

Tolbert has improved but he hasn’t done anything to prove he should be starting. He didn’t even have a single target last week. Gallup has been more productive than Tolbert.

I don't even believe how you could insult the best player on the line for close to a decade now, I don't get how you can be so cruel, did you wake up wrong, go back to bed, you're wrong for this (how did I do, did it sound like you towards me???)

I would get him and Turpin more involved but only if used in motion. I think this is where they would be best at. I don’t see them lining straight up and getting off the CB’s well if they are playing press.

maybe just maybe, he could get a bit more separation????
If he could he would be playing more. Gallup is still playing ahead of him and he did have a couple of catches last week. If our receivers continue to struggle getting open, maybe Tolbert will be given more of an opportunity as the season progresses.

Gallup has been getting better and looking more like his old self. I'm all for Tolbert getting in the game more. If anything bench Cooks. He's been invisible.

But where are these rumors coming from? You have no source.

There's a hyperlink at the end of the OP's post. Clink on the blue word "Gallup".

100% but when you have isuses once again like last year where you're not getting enough separation and when they do throw you a tight ball and it hits you in the chest and bounces in for another interception that's at least four interceptions now in the last season and five games that's on Michael Geller he literally not fighting for the ball he's running poor routes so yeah I mean I would not binge him but you should pull him after a play like that and insert tolbert just to make a point whether it's gonna work or motivated player I don't know but I'm really sick of seeing that where a ball hits a guy into chest and bounces anyone interception that now the quarterback is gonna get blamed for not only having to throw into a tight window then have your guy not even put a hand on it,..

We've switched WR's over the years, RB's, LB's, CB's, Safeties, Ends, Tackles, coaches at every level and 4 O-line positions! Anyone see what position I did not list? And we keep blaming everyone else! Comical fan base.

Dowdle runs stronger than Pollard and looks quicker.

I agree with you about Martin, but he looked better until he got injured. I wonder if he is still having problems with his ankle or if he is favoring it. The entire right side of the offensive line has been a disappointment. Steele looked awful against San Fran. He also got paid.

This witch hunt on Gallup is crazy.

Dude had a great game against Arizona but Dallas lost so, crickets were quiet about him. He follows that up with a nice 5 catches against NE. No noise that week either.
But a pissed off QB comes into SF with something to prove and doesn't make a first down until mid 2nd quarter and it's back to some version of "get rid of Gallup"... smh

We won't know what he'll be like until he gets more playing time. Only way we found out about how much better Miles Austin and DeMarco Murray was when they both got a start due to the starters (Roy Williams and Felix Jones) being injured.

BTW, both Austin and Murray broke the Cowboys' franchise records in their first starts.
