How do you all feel about our head coach sitting players out for periods at a time during games? I thought for sure with the amount of money tied up in this league, there was no room to really hold players accountable in terms of game time. Our coach has done it if guys aren't playing well, or if guys had issues detrimental to the team. How do you like this approach? Based on some of the play our guys played in this past game, do you see any players being benched? I could easily say Murray (I don't see why he's on the field except for the fact that he's making a decent amount of money, and Jerry doesn't like to see guys with decent money on the bench!)

Turpin might be next, may be time to sprinkle Blue in to see what he can do in the return game. I know they had Tolbert doing returns in practice, I'm not sure I'm ready to see Tolbert, but he may add a spark in our returns! Just some food for thought, please give your thoughts!!

*Forgot about the kid we just signed "Izzy!" He may can get back there and return some kicks for us

I wish I could bench you for a period of time.....

How does our feelings going to affect what really happens??

just because he's disciplined some guys doesn't mean he's going to override his defensive coordinator ,who by the way must be adamant about keeping 59 on the field, this is like the third post we're talking about this guy now, I dont even feel like spelling his name out anymore,

but 59 is standing out pretty glaringly in a pretty bad defense especially in the Lions game and that's bad when you're standing out in a bad way amongst all the other bad plays that happened.

I'm tired of doing this but Jerry is not forcing 59 on the field, You all say that about the guys who's making more money and yet he's done this in the past he's fired head coach he's fired coaches like Mike Nolan after one year with lots of money on the contract Jalen Smith got a boatload of money the very next season after mid season he was released off the team mid season not even at the end of the season cut from the team and this is a player he actually liked you remember he supported his sunglass company or whatever it was He had a good relationship with Jalen Smith and cut his butt.

You can keep revisiting these narratives about Jerry forcing players on coaches and I'm telling you that's an old narrative never been proven and I don't think that's the case here I think the coordinator really wants him matt really wants him the only way you're going to get rid of Murray is to get rid of Matt that's what we should be talking about Friday morning the Cowboys should have put out a press release that they have let Matt EberPOO, go at his request that's right Let him save some face say he quit.

And whoever you make interim DC you can let him sit 59....

59 was brought over at the request and maybe he was working with a budget but at the request of Matt; Sanborn, James ,and murray are all matt's guys..

For whatever reason he thinks those players especially 50 nines the only one that's really good at the green dot and excuse the really bad plays for whatever reason I don't know..

Nah. If the team stinks next year you have to fire him. He should get one more year, and it needs to be a playoff year.
NAH.. It's apparent that his side of the ball which is his main job the offense has been playing great the schemes are better The play calling is better he's not perfect but as a offensive coordinator he's been way more than expected He and his his hires in Klayton Adams Riley they've all been doing a pretty damn good job It's one of the top offenses in the league and he's doing what he can to at least work with Matt to try to make the defense better but that is not his expertise all he can do is hammer it into the ground that he needs the defense to play better he needs the team to stop imploding with penalties and turnovers but that's not his fault at all...

Think about this this is year one and immediately you can see the difference in the offense the way the run game is married to the past game it just looks better it feels better you have experts out there breaking down film and impressed with the play designs and whatnot it's a lot better than Mike Mccarthy even though we've had some number one offenses under Mccarthy it's not the same you can see it's not the same therefore BS needs to be excluded at least for this year on the rest of the problems and I'm you don't fire him after next year unless it's apparent that he's terrible and he's not there's no hint at all that he's a terrible head coach or offensive coordinator..

He's even done things this year that other coaches haven't done in the past and disciplined guys make him sit out 1/4 or a series he's tried to be a players coach but a disciplinarian at the same time and we'll see what happens next year but it's not an automatic if he doesn't make the playoffs next year that he gets fired that's silly..

But needed to happen this matt should have been fired at the bye week but he should have been fired after Thursdays game it's not happening how is it his fault that's on Jerry and Jerrys not going to fire himself the defense has been the worst part of this group and even though our head coach is the head coach he doesn't have much control or expertise on the defense side of all all he can do is offer some advice bark some orders but that ain't going to change anything he wants the game starts....

There you go banging on Turpin again. Did he pee in your Wheaties or something? He was an All-Pro and didn't just suddenly forget how to return kicks. Clearly the special teams coaching is lacking this year.

Lol lol lol no he pooped on your pop tart!!! All these people except you see that he's not doing well, get out of last year and focus on the present

Wish we could bench you sometimes. Give me your thoughts. Thank you

If not replaced, at least on the hot seat. Vrabel seems to be okay in his first year in NE. They are coming off back to back 4-13 seasons
