The schedule is what it is, I don't care if Bengals have 10 days or coming off a bye. Cowboys can only control what they do. Right now this week is the 49ers Cowboys must handle their business and then get ready for the next game.

Can you imagine the gyrations on this board if we beat San Francisco and then spank Cincinnati at home. 4 - 1? The couch experts would spontaneously combust.

I hope it is the case but have to say right now just thinking about the 49ers game. Each win will help this team build confidence.

AJ is a beast, but it looks like all they have on O. They seem to get a lot of pressure on the QB by rushing 4, O line will need to have a good game.
He doesnt like to get hit. Thats why I said we need to deliver the first blow

One game at a time is the best mantra in all of sports! We must win the Niner game, no excuses -- their resurgent D and rushing attack be damned. <end of hot take> :)

Won't matter. We will have mearly played scrubs and nobodies. Dak is just average. We're lucky to play all injury riddled teams

But hey. Did you see that Wentz kid light up all Super Bowl teams to a 4-0 record? Fantastic!!!

Didn't we get a 10 day break before the rematch with the Eagles in 2014? Lost to them on turkey day. Then played the Bears a week later on Thursday. Then the Eagles on a Sunday night on 10 days rest after Philly traveled across the country to play and lose to Seattle.

Let's not act like we never benefited from this treatment.

Agreed. The last 2 games, the Cowboys have played a team that had to play on the Monday night before playing Dallas the next weekend. Sometimes the schedule works in their favor, sometimes it doesn't

People who expect the Bengals to have an easy lay up tonight vs. the Dolphins are in for a surprise. That Miami team lost a close one by 2 pts to the Seahawks in wk 1 then hung tough for the most part with the Pats before losing 31-24. Yes, their 1 win is over Cleveland, 30-24, but they played good teams in those 2 losses and they hung tough.

Bengals could be in for a rough night.
Layup.

Better than Chicago though. I'm not impressed with Cincy as I think Dalton isn't that great. Now AJ? He's a stud.

Dalton is underated. Probably because hes ginger.

Wasn't impressed last night by the Bengals. Don't know why AJ didn't end the game with 30 catches and 5 TDs.

They stalled 5 times in the offensive half against a secondary that is worse than ours overall.

I've been saying it for years: teams that have bye weeks should be playing each other after the bye so there is no advantage. And have the byes by division.

So if the NFCE have a bye week 7, 2 division games are played in week 8.

That ends this issue of teams having an advantage teams have comng off bye weeks.

I still think they'll beat the Cowboys. Even if it's close.

As for the Bengals, no pass rush = no chance.

AJ Green will murder the Cowboys if Dalton has all day to throw the ball.

Their strength is the Defense. Dalton is very average and the offense also. They have a tough, hardnosed Defensive unit and that is their real advantage

Our Offensive line is way better, even if Smith is still out, compared to the Dolphins.
Add in that Prescott actually has pocket awareness, he should be able to avoid some rushes.
But I agree, their defense is the strength of the team, so the Cowboys will need to keep them off balanced and play smart football.
And their two RBs aren't bad. Especially if their line can open a hole. Suh and Phillips did a good job last night plugging the middle.

I still think they'll beat the Cowboys. Even if it's close.

Yea, expecting a close game.
