sorry... didn't see it posted anywhere and it's another FS off the board.

Bengals signed safety Dexter Jackson to a four-year, $7.6 million contract.
The seven-year veteran has bounced around since winning the Super Bowl MVP and projects as an average starting free safety. Average would be an improvement for the Bengals. Madieau Williams should start at strong safety. Mar. 13 - 2:42 pm et

I this guy any good at all? Why weren't the Cowboys interested in him? Heck, like many are saying, even an average FS is good for us and he certainly didn't cost much. Since he's been around 7 years, must make him around 30--so maybe he not that good and age a factor, but still....

Because he's not very good, and after 7 years in the league is probably not going to get any better.

You're better off drafting a young guy in the mid rounds who may be worse his first year but will eventually have a lot more upside.

No biggie. He wasn't on my radar, at least. He's one of those guys that seems to be available every offseason.

He hasn't been the same since missing almost an entire season with a back injury.

He was never that good. Just had a good game when it counted, like Larry Brown....
