Is it me, or is Carson Palmer deliberately trying to have Chad Johnson killed? I don't think I've ever seen a receiver put in defenseless positions by his QB more than Johnson has been lately.

People still think Big Ben is a statue

Hyp Toad? :p:
The guy was sacked 16 times in the last 3 games (24 times in the last 6) and has supposedly one of the best lines in the NFL.

Did you see how slow he ran LOL.

He moves his legs and hips so much for like 2 yards.

In terms of mobility, Roethlisberger is somewhat similar to Troy Aikman early in his career before his knees deteriorated. Aikman wasn't an elusive scrambler a la Steve Young, but he did have a large frame and could power forward for 3 or 4 extra yards once he began moving with some velocity.

Roethlisberger is a little bigger, however, and has more power.

Roth is a little faster I would say, he doesn't scramble per se, he scrambles to throw the football, sort of like Romo, but w/ less pinache

I guess I am seeing things then.

Just watch the games... sacks can be the result from many things such as good coverage and/or bad route running. How about poor pass blocking and/or a well executed blitz or pass rush. Etc, etc etc.

Simply saying Big Ben has been sacked a lot doens't mean it was his fault EVERY sack. Majority, maybe, but lets not exaggerate.

Just watch the games and you'll see he is a pretty mobile QB for a guy his size. Tonight's game has had plenty of examples.

They showed a stat that he has only had 2 passes deflected at the LOS in 308 attempts - QB average is 1 in every 40. (not much to do with mobility but just a little nugget).

PS. I will still take Romo any day of the week.

you watch the clips from the Jets game by any chance? dude was running around, holding onto the football, that's how how most of his 8 sacks came

again, he's like Romo in that he runs around when the protection breaks down, but he doesn't know when to throw it away sometimes

The line was awful in the Jets game.

true, but the dude still held onto the football for too long

Holding on to the ball has nothing to do with his legs and mobility though ;)

haha I know I know.

But the bottom line is he is more mobile than some here give him credit.

Not that I should care what anyone here thinks since I am always right and all that matter is me.

The Bungles are garbage. Carson Palmer is completely overrated.
