Who doesn't love Black Friday? Nothing captures the spirit of the holidays like ripping the last item on the shelf out of someones hands. It's heartwarming!

I just read that the Jets are trying to secure Black Friday as a yearly regular home game.

.....I saw Bill Gates one time, tossing out Playstation One's on BF. It was the weirdest event, you will ever encounter.

Worlds richest man, twenty feet from you.

But. They are the bengals. No one really WANTS to watch them outside of Burrow fans.

I dont think Mike Brown is overly popular with the other owners. I do think his team is an entertaining watch these days though.

The Bengals attempted that maneuver soon after the new broadcast game was announced - they were denied.
And it will happen with the Jets too.
With many NFL fan plus some sports media annually complaining about the Detroit and Dallas teams continually hosting that holiday game .... the league is not going to sign off on a franchise getting this as a home game annually - or another team granted the same for the night Thanksgiving game slot.

Was almost an automatic W when the tradition started in the mid 1960s - and that was because the team was among the NFL's best.
Not so much since the mid-90's.
Throughout the decades--- I never let that game's outcome be the focal point of celebrating the holiday --- be it with family, friends, coworkers, etc.

Very proud to say that not once in my life have I ever shopped on Black Friday with the crazies.
Try working retail as a teenager with those crazies. Before Amazon and eBay existed. I have horror stories.

So much has moved to online shopping that entire week, is Black Friday even a big thing anymore?

I bought most of my Christmas that way and was done before Thanksgiving without even leaving my house.

Retail Black Friday back in the day was pure NUTS.

I’m the same. Do all my Christmas shopping online. Even bought the wrapping paper online. I was done in November. It has reduced the holiday stress by a lot.
