Bengals vs Packers

It's nice to see the signs in the stands supporting Rodgers. After all the chanting and websites dedicated to Favre's return, the kid deserves some public appreciation and support.

If Rogers does well this season he's looking/wanting Romo/Bulger type of money. If he sucks he'll get a moderate to low extension and Brohm will be the man. That is why it was imperative that Favre left for Rogers career to have any chance at all.

We'll see...

plus Witten had blood steaming down his face!:laugh2:

In a game that mattered, with a much harder hit, on prime time television against a division rival.

that's what I like about the Packer receivers, all of them are good after the catch

esp. Jennings

Jennings is nasty once he gets the ball in his hands, really wish we had a guy opposite Owens like that.

I think Rodgers is going to be the next great QB.

He is in a no win situation. If he wins, who cares, he will never be Favre. If he loses, damn if we had Favre, we could have won.

I was just thinking... what if he pulls a anybody-but-McNabb?

When McNabb goes down the backup(doesnt matter who?) plays and wins.... lol

That would be funny.

We already know that Rodgers wont "check out" of running plays to throw an INT into 3 defenders.

i think i'm going on over to youtube and watch katy perry throw down on some "i kissed a girl."

me, not so much

he will probably be an average to above average starter at best IMO

Speaking a bit too soon. Rodgers looks very solid so far tonight.

he was throwing vs the Zimmer defense, what did you expect?

I cant wait till Cinci comes to town...its been my dream of the past 10 yrs for the Cowboys offense to get a real game vs a Mike Zimmer defense, and I cant wait...we'll hang 40+ on them

David

The Packers looked very good. Driving down the field on 2 possesion leading to 2 scoring drives forcing 2 or 3 3 and outs. I think they will duplicate their success from last season.

1) Packers offense ok, but its vs a Mike Zimmer defense

2) Mike Zimmer defense, more of the same 'ol same 'ol...if not for a dropped pass and an easy missed long throw, Packers might have had 21+ on them in 15-20 minutes

3) Brian Brohm...awful

4) Packers pass rush still doesnt worry me any

5) AJ Hawk got a ton of man love when he came out, but he looks like nothing more than an average starter...ok player, but nothing special...they used the 5th overall pick on a guy who is no better than Dexter Coakley was...and he was a 3rd rd pick..its another example of why I think drafting a 4-3 OLB with a 1st rd pick (especially an early 1st) is a wasted pick

You never know...McCarthy and the Packers organization are going to MAKE this work..If you get rid of Brett Farve...a living legend... you must have some sort of plan.....right??? :lmao:

Um, why is he wearing a Favre Jets jersey??? Is Favre or the Jets playing?? Sad.
