bengals vs ravens game thread

I dont agree with anything you say, matter of fact tony really only was ripping into joe the first night, now he is all the time asking joe football questions. The guy doing the play by play is decent and tony chimes in once in a while with a knucklehead remark but not enough for me to even notice him. I don't have any preconceived hatred of tony or joe so I am sure that plays into why I kinda like them.

watchout, stating you like theisman is like blasphemy on this board :D

Can't get it to work:bang2:

make sure you have windows media player 9 or higher. Make sure that you click on the info bar at the top of internet explorer to allow an install of an active x control, when you are on the website with the webplayer.

Check your settings in internet options to make sure you allow downloading active x controls.

ya I know but Commanders homerism aside he isn't that bad and he isn't nearly the moron I was lead to believe he would be based on this board. He actually has a good prospective from time to time.

i dont hate him either. but he is wrong alot because he is so impulsive and quick to blurt out something.

watch, he will crticize a play and say so and so was wide open then the replay will show that wr double cobered and he will be quiet and all of a sudden someone will change the subject. its kind of funny.

He isn't good in the booth for sure, but I remember he was a great studio host for NBC when I first started watching NFL football in the 1970s.

As a real journalist, he was great. Unlike guys like Matt Lauer who wouldn't know a hard question if it hit him in the face, people were afraid to face Bryant.

unfortunately he's terrible in the booth right now, obviously not experienced. however some of these guys DO get better, believe it or not, so there is some hope. i think collinsworth is fine, he understands the game, has some opinions, and is trying to be somewhat objective as a color guy.

i'll wait til the end of the year or even next year before i say gumble has to go, even if he is as useless a play by play guy as i can recall listening to doing an nfl game.

this is awesome can i watch every game like this, like hte ones i dont get on sunday?

How bad do the ravens look against a pathetic bengals defense?

yeah, last week all the spots mags were jumping on the ravens saying mcnair and lewis were gearing up for one last sb run.

colts and sd are the 2 afc teams with denver a challenger if this kid cutler can play at all.

gee, I thought Ed Reed was the greatest cover safety in NFL History

people would be ripping RW left and right for the toast job that Reed just got had with

and who was that FB dragging Reed for yards?

David

collinsworth is the one who irritates me. calling a dumpoff pass and the shovel pass "give up plays" on 3rd down. they were both good calls. he would have the team throw deep when the defense is presuring and turn the ball over or take a sack in those situations.

what website do I watch the game and what do I click to watch?

read both the threads and you can figure it out if not you probably should just turn your pc off and walk away.

I actually like Collinsworth. Gumbel is horrible, though, and it's not just his voice. Every play is: Player carries the ball. Credit the tackle to player. Down and distance.
