The Bengals have an absolute Logjam at WR
Untouchables
Chad Johnson
T.J. H------manzedah
Chris Henry

Any of these guys of interest?
Tab Perry
Antonio Chattam
Kelley Washington
P.K. Sam
Reggie McNeal
Bennie Brazzel

They can only keep 5-6 guys. I think any of those guys could be had for cheap.

Washington is an interesting player. Great size and speed but doesn't seem to get it.

Understandable question from you being a home stater, but you know I used to live there also and my brother-in-law has season tickets and knows the front office people....honestly there isn't anyone on that list that would upgrade our WR situation. The league wide final cut to 53 will yield a better corp of WR's IMHO.

I'd take Reggie McNeal. He can also play QB. The only problem is, he played for that horrible football team in college station...I guess I'm going to have to get over that... :D

Chris Henry despite his exploits has had a monster camp. He's not your typical no. 3 WR in that he has no. 1 ability. The convicts run the ship here even with his 10 cent head. So he stays.

Tab Perry- Very productive KR last year with good height and ability
Antonio Chattam- History at KR and PR
Kelley Washington- As much physical ability as any WR in the league a change of scenery would do him well.
P.K. Sam- He's only 23 great size, he was well thought of when he was drafted by the Pats two years ago and seems to be more talented than any of our bottom guys i.e. Tolivar Austin
Reggie McNeal- Seems like an ideal practice squad guy although I think some team will find an active roster spot for his on athletic ability alone.
Bennie Brazzel- Has had a monster camp and has Olympic speed and could push Tab Perry or Antonio Chattam off the roster.

I guess we will see, but whatever city you live in the people in that city tend to overvalue alot of their players. The people in Cincinnati who have been to Georgetown for practices are really talking up this group of WRs. Which might be exactly what we are doing with all of the Shanle, Hoyte, Fowler talk. 99% of the other teams in the NFL may view them as trash that they can pick up at anytime.

We already have JJ and MBIII at RB why do we need another especially at that steep price?

Why take the chance at a bust? Besides Players like Tom Brady came in the 6th round. So we trade our 6th round pick to the patriots for Rodney Harrison, and he'll play next to Roy Williams.

Kelley Washington, though he has the measurables to be a pro bowler, never recovered from the career threatening neck injury.

If he were younger (not that he's old), I'd be more interested in him as a project, but I don't think he'll amount to much at this point. It's too bad, b/c before the injury, he had a stellar career at Tenn.
