He rips Garrett on the show too.

Says him and Garrett didn't get along "F*** Jason Garrett") and the Cowboys tried to change him as a person.

Martellus is just an a-hole. Witten probably didn't talk to him because he had a terrible attitude from day 1. The Cowboys were on Hard Knocks, and I remember how he rolled his eyes and laughed when the TE coach(can't remember who it was) was talking to him on the first day of training camp. Bennett's first day as an NFL player, and he had an attitude. I've dislike him ever since then. He's one of those guys that doesn't get it, and blames everyone around him if things don't go exactly the way he wants them to. So glad he isn't wearing a star anymore.

Martellus had far more athleticism and ability, but really isn't a pimple on Witten's behind. One guy worked intelligently and diligently to perfect his craft. The other guy had every reason to be a Hall of Famer and was instead a malcontent and at best a hired gun that every team he played for couldn't wait to unload off their roster.

Jealousy comes in many forms. Dude is bigger, faster, stronger...on paper. They play on grass though (or composite).

Bennet still cant get over the fact the organization wanted him to be "like Jason Witten."

His immature attitude, dropped passes and antics like his stupid rap video were as much his undoing as having a hall of famer in front of him.

Yes he was loaded with talent and it was wasted but he plays a very big part in why that is the case. There is a reason that he has now played for 4 different teams. No one can blame Garret or Witten for Bennet not succeeding in NewYork or Chicago. As good as hes been at times I believe he didnt even have his first 100yd game until this season. He is a perennial underachiever.

I'll watch. I don't have a feeling about either brother so I guess I'm neutral. I am intrigued to hear more about his hate for witten. For all we know it could be 100% valid. There's always 2 sides of a story.

MartyB was on a talk show right after he joined the Giants and one of the hosts threw him a pass that was off target and Bennett laughed and called him Tony Romo.

Bennett seemed irritated and disappointed from the get go. He came in with an attitude maybe because he knew right then that his career might not ever take hold. Having Witten in front of you could possibly be the root of his ire. Maybe he feels slighted, who know's.

He never lacked talent, he lacked mental fortitude and still does. He is a disgruntled ex-employee who likes nothing better than to dis his former team.

All I know is that I am glad he is gone no matter how good he could have been here. It would have never flourished with that mental state.

I am puzzled by his early success in NE along side da Gronk. Maybe as Gronk gets back in the groove, Marty will begin to feel like he has been Wittened again and fazed out......that would be glorious

Just spit-balling here, no clue as to why he holds so much dismay for the Cowboys.

Marty didn't want to put in the hard work and study when he was here. If he had, he'd probably still be here. He'd rather whine and try to rely on his athleticism to get him by. The Cowboys "tried to change him" by getting him to mature and take responsibility for his own situation and tried to make him work harder. The HORROR!
