Finally, Chris Berman gives the Cowboys a little love during the "fastest 3 minutes in football" segment. He called Romo's run on the bad snap the "Greatest 4 yard run in the history of football".

it does seem like he and some tommy jackson just hate giving the Boys props.

So, i think its funny now because they really cant ignore what this team is doing any longer and still do their job, they'll have to be gritting their teeth a lot this year while praising the cowboys!!!!

About this time last year, they were giving the Saints all the praise in the world, calling them, "Everyone's second favorite team." But the Cowboys start well, and it's a fluke.

Chris Vermin hasn't said anything worth listening to since the mid '80s.
And that was only when he wasn't sniffing Walsh/Montana/Debartolo/Policy's butts.

Berman is probably going to be a fixture on the airwaves for the rest of my life.

With that knowledge...truer words could not have been spoken from none other than Mr. Loaf:

And now I'm praying for the end of time
To hurry up and arrive

ESPN loves to point out the records of teams the Cowboys defeated, but the reporters don't mention the records of teams that the Patriots played. I didn't watch the beginning of ESPN on Sunday because the reporters are horrible.

Berman was once quoted in a magazine interview as a Niner fan, of course he hates the cowboys, stack him next to Jackson who got his butt whipped in Super bowl XII and Theisman and Jaworski and Schlereth and Steve Young and you have nothing but people bitter about the Dallas Cowboys.

There were many allegations of Debartolo/Policy compromising the media back in the '80s with gifts, free trips on the team plane, etc.
They were just a filthy, slimy organization with a phony veneer.
Funny how when you hear about say, Art Schlister or Pete Rose or Barry Bonds, the first thing you think of is their negatives.
When you hear about the 49'ers do you automatically think about Debartolo or Policy's organized crime ties? Or the fact that Eddie D. had to give up control of the team due to his criminal activities? Has that ever happened to an NFL owner before or since?
Think all the "friends" he bought in the sports media doesn't have anything to do with that?

File Berman's expert opinion under 'Who cares what they Think'

Seriously, what does it matter what any of these 'experts' in the media think or don't think about Dallas?...Not going to change a thing when it comes down to the scoreboard.

I don't care if we get any "love" from any of these nit-wits....I am embracing Hostile's mantra "Embrace the Hatred". It's so much more satisfying!

I watch these pre-game shows for grins and laughs and do not put much stock in any of these guys opinion. Like any fan I like when they talk highly of the Cowboys but I don't take much of what they say seriously. All in all I'm glad ESPN is around I would hate it if they went off air then I would be stuck watching stupid sitcoms and other trash on network TV

Wilbon is most definitely a Cowboy hater, but I still like PTI, one of the best sport shows in my opinion, I TIVO it every day.

But yeah, it's rare to hear him give the Cowboys any credit, and he never really liked Tony Romo. On Romo's scramble for the first down after the snap went over his head, instead of admitting it was a great job of staying aware and making a huge play by Romo, he instead talked about how bad the defense was, and that they shouldn't have missed the tackles, blah blah blah.

I stopped watching all of the NFL pregame and commentary shows years ago. Now I watch the games and the replays only. All NFL news is available online anyway.

I tuned in ESPN when the Playmaker was on the show, cause he's entertaining and fun. No more. It's just my .02, but I really enjoy the Fox crew and always have. Howie, Jimmah, and now Switzer seem to demonstrate some obvious fondness for Jerry and the Cowboys. Bradshaw, not so much.
Berman tries to cloak his dislike of the Cowboys with his patina of "professional sports journalist", and his "gotta love those niners and Buffalo" act grew thin many, many years ago. Disgusting.
