If bernadeau plays better at guard but is a better center than costa should he start at center even if costa is a better center than bernadeau backup is at guard:D

Like almost probowl level guard but is a little above average center.
discuss.....

We have to get Costa out of the starting lineup. Preferably off the roster, but at least no longer a starter.

The guy can't play. He can't physically hold up. He's a waste of space and time. It's criminal that this stiff is snapping the football to Tony Romo.

The best five should start. If Bernadeau is a better center than Costa and the other guard candidates are better guards than Costa, then Costa should not be on the field.

The injuries might end up being a blessing in disguise if they improve the center position by forcing Bernadeau to play it. That's assuming Bernadeau will be a better center than Costa.

Then it would be a question of whether Livings/Leary/Arkin/etc. can hold off Costa for the guard spots. (If we finally give in to Holland's demands, I'm absolutely sure he could hold off Costa for a guard spot.)

The unpopular truth.

@Risen Star, you are one of my favorite posters on this site.

Why do think Tony got fitted for another helmet? He knows he's in trouble.

The OL coach seems to like Costa for some unknown reason.

What's he suppose to say?

~Jerry, this Costa guy really stinks, can you bring in someone else that I can coach?~

If he really doesn't want Costa starting then I hope he would inform the Head Coach that he's not going to work out.

Yes. It's his job to evaluate the linemen and tell the head coach and GM what he thinks.

dude has never passed the eye test or the sniff test: he looks bad and smells worse...as for CAllahan complimenting him, he's trying to build his fragile confidence. Man, this conversation is getting old: but sadly, its' necessary because like RS keeps saying: this guy has NO business near Romo and our team...................:bang2:

Make it happen.

Although I was hoping for better going into the offseason, I'd certainly settle for that over the other options we seem to have. (Of course, that's assuming Bernadeau and Livings are actually any good. ... Good thing on Livings is I really hadn't heard anything negative about his play before he got hurt. Of course, he didn't get to practice in pads very much before the injury happened.)

Yeah, well it won't do him any good now will it? Everything is fine in Dallas, no worries, amigo.

Unpopular where? There are only maybe 2 guys that think Costa can play.

I don't think Costa is a bad as many on here make him out to be, and I still don't think he's good enough to start.

Sadly, he still might be the best center on this roster, which is an indication of how bad we have it. Here's hoping Bernadeau takes to the position and proves to be more than just another backup-caliber lineman.
