BP fans say Berry wanted too much money in defense of Bill letting Bert Berry walk out of Valley Ranch. Looking back now as Wiley vomits nightly on TV the Cards made the better investment, and its not even close!

Now we can see why Jerry will never hire a GM!

Bill Parcells is a very good talent evaluator, and if you say otherwise, then...uh...well...uh...Lawrence Taylor and Bill Belichek disagree.

Wait, what? I'm sorry. I reversed things there.

You usually get what you Pay For. We went cheap there and got cheap return.

There was no secret at the time that we preferred Berry. Problem was we weren't willing to pony out the cash he got there if I'm not mistaken. Maybe the staff missed there. It happens.

I plead ignorance, what are you talking about? Who's Bert Berry?

Dallas did the same thing with Antoine Winfield that year as well. It would have been nice to have Winfield and Newman manning the corner back spots the last few seasons.

It all finds a way to work out. If Dallas had signed Bertand Berry in 2004 then they probably don't end up with Demarcus Ware the following season. I like Berry, but he is no Ware.
