DLaw is a lock but Irving and Collins will miss the game. Of course, a full training camp will give us a lot of answers but I can see a starting four of DLaw, Crawford, Ward, and Taco.

Either this or Crawford starts at RDE and someone else gets plugged in at DT

Starting 4 will be DLaw Price Collins Taco; subs Ash Ward Crawford Gregory Ealy Armstrong; susp Irving
Nickel switch Crawford and Price

rotate them all liberally

Any 4 that knocks the opposing QB into the turf, repeatedly. As well as any RB too no more than a few yards past the LOS, preferable if for no gain or a loss. :D

Week one we gotta knock Cam down a lot and hold on for dear life. The dude is a truck and doesn't go down easy.

I think Ward starts over Price. Agree w/ the rest.

Collins had surgery may 11th, with an expected recovery of 10 to 12 weeks. Why wouldn't he be available the 1st week of the season?

This, I am not Albert Einstein by any means but May 11th till September he should be ready to go.

Taco should surprise, I think he'll be a solid DE that's stronger against the run than the pass but should improve as a pass rusher later in the season.

Do we know that Maliek is going to miss the game? I thought the original timetable was that he had a chance to return during training camp? Provided there aren’t any setbacks of course.

Read again in regards to Collins.

They said he is expected to be ready for game 1.

Collins
Price
Datone Jones
Ward

If Taco is our starting RDE then we are in big trouble. Teams will run all over us. Crawford will have to play DE until someone is competent enough. At least he is solid against the run out there. We can ONLY pray that Collins is recovered enough to be effective and start. Then we only have to plug in one guy at DT until Irvin gets back.

Week 1: Taco, Ward, Collins, Lawrence
Week 8: Gregory, Irving, Collins, Lawrence

I really like Taco's upside. He was starting to come on late last season. His development is about where it should be considering how raw he was and how much work he needed.
