I think when people say 'the 80's, they mean that bubble gum poppy stuff and U2 isn't really characterized as 80's. They were around and started then, but they're still around and their sound is different than what was played then. As much as I hate 'em...

I hear Steve Perry's working on a solo album that'll be released next year. I thought I'd heard that his voice was shot, but apparently he still sounds as good as ever.

It'd be fantastic if they could get together for a reunion tour at some point. I saw Journey with Arnel Pineda this summer and they were great, but it would just be too cool if Perry rejoined them at some point.

Not really an 80's song, but Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin' is a killer tune.
