Damone Clark is wearing a number in the cornerback range so I have great confidence he can be a boundary corner by next week.

Time to bring Kyron Brown back. He's on the Titans practice squad. He plays with a lot of energy, he can tackle, and does a good job of tracking and playing the ball. Plus he knows our system a little. Great athlete, reminds me of Diggs, he just comes from a small school... Akron.

He has more upside than Joseph, IMO and you can see it in his highlights.

He started 20 games for Atlanta under Quinn and he is FAST. Holds track records at OSU. Seems to be mostly a slot corner. I do think Bland can kick outside, if Joseph can't get it done.

Right. I think that will be our second option. I don't know if Wright figures in there anywhere. They seemed to think he was going to do well this preseason and then he flat-out struggled.

I could also see us possibly playing Bland when we're using two corners and bring Joseph in only when we are in the nickel (which is most of the time). Bland may have earned that promotion based on how he played in the Indy game.

This is going to be like our offensive line and signing Peters. Kelvin Joseph is going to have to prove he can be the man now. But here are the best still out there, if they're even still serious about playing.

Malcolm Butler
Richard Sherman
Kevin King
Ross Cockrell
Desmond Trufant (history with Quinn)
Donte Deayon
Trufant and Sherman are 100 years old in NFL Dog years.

Might as well give Prime a call and see if he will rescind the Colorado offer to play CB "one mo prime" for Jerry....:lmao:

Why even mention Richard podcast Sherman? LOL there isn't a corner on the roster or practice squad that isn't better than Sherman

Don't really pay much attention to the off the field stuff if it isn't our team.

With half his toes left, Prime is still probably better than half the corners out there.

Wondering if the Rams would be interested in offing Ramsey since he's playing as bad as a CB can play. You can tell his heart just isn't in it anymore as far as the Rams go. If JJ can get the Rams to pay part of his salary it might be a good deal to be had.

A lot of talk about it lately and I hope the NFL decides to extend its trade deadline. Would definitely make for some interesting news late season.

At this point Daron Bland is the best corner we have besides Diggs. Only concern is does he know the outside position or has he only been groomed inside?

Brown is a tough loss.

I would move Mukuamu back to corner for the rest of the season and just roll with Diggs, Joseph, Bland and Mukuamu. He can play. I have no time for Nahshon Wright.
My thoughts exactly. There is an advantage to using guys that are already on the team. They know their teammates and they know the system.

Kevin King intrigues me if he is in any shape at all.
Good player whose body was beat up so he took the year off.
