To me, a win, no (Insert the dreaded I word here - I don't want to say it) and a similar performance to what we have been seeing with regards to effort. That tells me these guys are on the path...

My Best Case Scenario Sunday is 1) the Cowboys jump out to huge early lead in the first half to allow us to rest Murray (let Randle/Dunbar carry the load) and 2) Skins lose to Tenn, 3) Rams beat Seattle, Saints beat Det, Car beats GB,raiders beat AZ and Den beats SF. That would gave the cowboys a half game lead over Philly, a two game lead over AZ, Det, SF and GB thus, putting us in better position for homefield advantage.

My concern is this game mean's more to the Giants than the Cowboys. The Cowboys can afford a loss at this point in the season, whereas the Giants are fighting to stay in the hunt. Whatever it amounts to, the Giants will be giving the Cowboys their best shot Sunday afternoon.

LOL at this game meaning more to Giants and that we can afford a loss. We are tied for first place right now so this game means just as much to us and we can't afford a loss. That just makes no sense to say we can afford a loss. No we can't.

I also think a lot of people are expecting the Giants of old to show up and turn on this magical switch. The Giants don't have Bradshaw, Jacobs, Steve Smith, Cruz, Manningham, Nicks, Osi, Tuck anymore. Those are the guys that gave us fits and they don't have anyone close to those caliber of players anymore. If we don't turn the ball over and continue doing what we are doing the Giants don't have much of a chance and even if we do turn it over the Giants probably won't do anything with it.

Team comes out sharp and plays the entire game that way.
Murray doesn't fumble, nearly fumble, think about fumbling, wonder why the word mumble sounds like fumble, or even drops his helmet on the sidelines.
Romo is accurate and tosses no picks.
Dez has 140 yards and two TDs
Witten patrols the hash marks
Eli ends up on his arse four times and tosses two picks.
The Giants score less than 10 points.
The offensive line of Dallas blasts big holes, creates an impenetrable wall for Romo, and celebrates two TD's by running backs.

The offensive line does the Landry Hitch at the end of the game.

The last line would be plenty for me.

DeMarco has always ran well against the Giants. Even when our line was crap and Giants defense was top 5 defense. I don't see that changing in this game unless there are major injuries involved.

Being such a week-to-week league, what we did last week or last year has absolutely no bearing moving forward. And with the margin from team to team being so slim, just give me a win and get out without further injury. As a fan, that's about the best I could hope for on Sunday.

So...you are saying the Cowboys have to win out to make the playoffs? You do realize how unlikely that is, right? Meanwhile, the Giants are sitting in 3rd place in what looks to be a race between the Cowboys and the Eagles. It is even more unlikely to make the playoffs from the 3rd position. So, yeah, all thing considered, in terms of playoff implications, it does mean more to the Giants. This game may be closer than you think, despite that lack of top tier talent on the Giants side.

talking best case:

No injuries and it's decided in the third so that both teams rest starters and we win 33-0.

I am shocked by the sheer number of analysts and media types who are picking the Giants to win.

I really hope we win and have no injuries. I have a weird feeling about this game.... Hope I'm wrong.
