Best case scenario for the Cowboys

It would be great to see us trade back again this year (to later in the first) with someone needing a QB and pick up a second AND a third in the process.

On an honest note, based upon what Stephen jones said, DL. I think with the disappointment in the season by the fans, I wouldn't put it pass Jerry to try and make a splash and trade up for a guy like Clowney to replace Ware.

Problem is I think Manziel will be gone even if we moved up 5 slots. I am fully on board with making it happen though.

Just like last year my prediction is we trade back some.

I think, much like last year, it depends on whether there is someone we really like still available at 16/17. Last year, we specifically targeted Star, Richardson, Cooper, and Vacarro. When they were all off the board by pick 14, we looked to trade back. Let's say we're really high on Kony Ealy (for example), and he's there, we probably make the pick. If he's gone, and there's no one left that we're crazy about, we'll most likely look to trade out.

I'm in agreement on this. You made your bed with romo for a few more years now we need to lay in it and fix trenches. Not draft a guy to get an uptick in jersey sales.... Which is why I'm afraid it'll happen

Best case scenario??? Jerry goes into a coma for three years, Stephen hires a real GM and a real head coach. We draft well and Jerry wakes up minutes before the team takes the field for the 2016 season Superbowl and has to watch it knowing he had absolutely nothing to do with it.

I wouldn't like it either. But I could see it. Jerry's drafts are either very efficient (like 2011 and 2013) or very flashy (like 2012).
