Even through the tv speakers I can tell a huge difference in crowd energy over years past. Even over 2014. I think the OP is on to something, there seems to be something electric in the air this year. All I'm saying is, overall, we have good energy and good vibes pushing us into a great future. Feels good and I am enjoying the hell out of it.
Amen. This has been a long time coming. It feels good.

This was a rivalry game and we are absolutely rolling. It was nice to see the crowd show out like that. On TV, the crowd was loud. Felt like a home field advantage for the first time ever in AT&T Stadium.

I will watch my beloved Boys at our home stadium one of these days.

Think I will wait until my daughter is old enough so that we can make the trip as a family.

Would have been awesome to be there for this game.

Was able to watch the Boys win the one at FedEx in 2014.

This is about the time when the wine and cheese crowd gets bought out by fans that want to cheer for the home team.

They are called front runners.

The stadium was just as good in 03, 06, 07, 09, 11, 14

The stadiums have been good for all the big games. Generally its people who are not there commenting that the stadium is not loud or whatever and for a lot of noon games or games when we are a losing team like last year but the other times its good.

The atmosphere this year is great and its just like 2014.

IMO its not as good an atmosphere as when Romo took over in 06 and then the best atmosphere was 07 at texas stadium. It was incredible.

I imagine if we keep winning and get the 1 seed this year will be like 07 but its not there yet to me. If we get a home playoff game this year it should be great.

While I agree with your '07 take -- that was a "missed opportunity" team as they should've won that game (thanks Crayton!) -- I just haven't felt the, well, CONFIDENCE, at the stdm and amongst fans since the 90s teams. In '07 -- which was a great season and fun -- I was still waiting for the shoe to drop...and so were most fans. This year? Don't feel or see it.

Thats on you, I wasnt waiting for the shoe to drop in 07 or 09 which was just as good a team with the way they closed out the season playing defense. The 14 teams defense is like this year and it creates doubt. Never felt the doubt during that 06-09 run. Those were good teams.

Garrett always says its the players responsibility to give the fans something to cheer about.

When you have had the type of history and success such as the Dallas Cowboys, those 8-8 seaons just aren't going to do it. Excellence is demanded, and until it is attained, you aren't going to get a homefield like the Seahawks or Chiefs, or Vikings, teams that are not used to winning.

Fair or not, but 8-8 gets you a wine and cheese crowd, because there are more important things than the game. Start to have some real success such as 2014 and this year, and even Super Bowls, and oh yeah, we will be a top 5 home field for sure.

You can't win like that and not be.

I'm with you on this.

I was as confident as ever in 07 and 09.

I've been super leary all year about the defense, but it has worked so far. I don't know that it can work in the playoffs against elite QB's. Wash and Pit are the best two teams we've faced this year. Both have below average defenses, and above average offenses. All 3 games were won, but are easily toss ups, and could just have easily been a loss in the postseason.

Relying on zero margin for error for your offense in the playoffs is playing with fire. I think we're a year away.

You should have been at the Detroit playoff game 2 years ago. It was more electric and deafening than any Cowboy game, playoff game or Super Bowl I've attended.

Yes. over 100 decibles for most of the game. Made it to 110 at the end.

It felt different watching it on TV. That first drive where Zeke was running and the O-Line was mashing people, You could feel the excitement. I was impressed. They were loud the entire game. It's nice to see because the crowd has felt so laid back for so many years. The rookies have juiced up the fans as much as the rest of their teammates. I can actually see where the Cowboys could actually have a home field advantage for once
