Dance Clubs strictly usually had only DJs no live bands or karaoke. Dance Clubs usually didn't have bad elements thug gangstas,bikers,rednecks.

Never heard them called dance clubs. Just clubs or bars. There are still some dance halls in operation around here.

Dance Clubs also usually had club,techno,rave ,dance music.

In Nashville they had a great Dance Club called " Red Iguana" had all kinds of females. College kids and it was popular but since Nashville is Country Music they got bought out to make another Country bar. Guess what happen from having 500 + people a night they got 75 to 100 a night.... That club was off the hook!! They had Japanese School Girl Night. All girls come dressed like Japanese School Girls,Asians,Latinas,Whites,and Black babes all over this club so upset when they were sold.
