Can you name your Best/Favorite Zombie Movies of All time ?

A close look at Mine:
( Am I forgetting a real good one ? )

Dawn of Dead (1978)
Gates of Hell (aka City of the Living Dead)
Return of Living Dead
Land of the Dead
Day of the dead
Dawn of Dead (remake-2004)
Resident Evil
Dead Alive
World War Z
Serpent and the Rainbow
Shaun of the Dead
Re-Animator
Return of the Living Dead 3
Zombie (1979)
Pet Sematary
Tombs of the Blind Dead
Zombie Land
Cemetery Man
Night of the Living Dead (1968)
Night of the Living Dead (remake 1990)
Fido
Night of the Creeps
Train to Busan
Army of the Dead
Warm Bodies

Sorry, but I do not consider 28 Days/Weeks Later movies to be “ Zombies” from which one body is dead, and then re-animated back
to a walking dead.
28 Days/Weeks is more “ Virus- Infected Diseased” than the Undead.

@MichaelWinicki ... and yes, I do love the nowadays upgrade to be " running " zombies !!
No more lumbering Easies ! ......" Run Forrest Run ! " .... LOL :p

No... "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things" (1972).

One of my top underrated horror films.

Unlike the zombie movie blitz that occurred after the 1979 release of "Dawn of the Dead" and again after the "Dawn of the Dead" remake along with other films like "Resident Evil" and "28 Days Later", there were few "zombie" movies released after "Night of the Living Dead".

Not sure why not, but there just weren't.

There's a decent one from the UK, who's name escapes me at the moment...

And there's "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things".

The clothing is horribly dated for the early 70's, but the story is interesting and unique when it comes to zombie flicks.

The violence and gore are extreme for the early 70's.

It's a solid zombie flick that I heartily recommend.

Zombieland was my favorite zombie comedy for simply having 'The Rules'. :muttley:

I never saw the " Double Tap " sequel to Zombieland. And since it never seems to brought up
in the critics or public eye, I assume it must have been a flop.

This movie gave me nightmares.

I remember Shock Waves movie back in the day.

At that time at my local theaters, it was combined in with a 3 movies day showing,
basically meaning we were forced to watch Shockwaves and another movie, before we could finally see the movie we came to see .... " Jaws"

@MichaelWinicki ... it's just a theory on my part but I'd have to think a combination of the godfather of the zombie genre, the late George Romero .. The Resident Evil movie series and of course AMC's Walking Dead

All three entities are/were dynamically popular Resident Evil more so, the video game)
This had to have significantly jump started the Zombie Apocalypse again from a worldwide point

Now add to it that Netflix is constantly humming in with their own new zombie mania, in series and movies
and it could be argued that Zombies are giving Vampires a series run for the No.1 horror genre.

Sitting in the back of my 1953 Chevy, at the drive-in, with my girl watching Night of the Living Dead.
