Best football weekend in a long time.

On Friday night, our local high school team, (who I am the PA announcer for) played our cross state rival. This is usually a preview of a playoff game.
They were celebrating their homecoming AND 100 years of football at their school, so it was a pretty hyped up game.
The game was tied a 7 at half-time.

We came out the 2nd and took over physically, pounding it down their throats offensively and holding them to -6 yards rushing. We won 31-6.

On Saturday, the WV Mountaineers went to Lubbock TX to take on Texas Tech, .. where they got trounced in 2012. Last year TT came from behind in Morgantown to beat WVU.
This time we came from down 34-20 to score 17 unanswered points to win on a 55 yd FG at the buzzer.

Then on Sunday, you all know what the Cowboys did !!

Add to this, the Stoolers got hammered by the Browns 31-10. (I live in steeler country)

This weekend of football could not have gone any better!!

Football is good right now !! Two weeks in a row.

High school team won, .. but the team they beat was not good.

WVU upset #4 Baylor. It was an awesome defensive performance.
WV defense held the Baylor offense to 20 points. I didn't think that was possible.

Dallas fell behind the Giants but came back and outscored them 24-7 after that! Great game and great win!!

Let's go Texans, .. beat the Stoolers.

Karma bit me, ... I should have just kept my mouth shut.

The stoolers seemed to have turned their season around on a fluke two minutes in the Houston game and a butt-whooping on Luck and the Colts, ... meanwhile Dallas is losing to the 2-5 skins, with a 3rd string QB.

Painful.

The Rapist did it again, .. and WV let a 9 point lead slip away at home against TCU.
