Until they changed them I preferred Wendys but now I'd have to go with Red Robin.
Same. Old Wendy's were light years ahead in my book. This sea salt whatever thingy isn't working out for me at all. I won't get them ever again. Red Robin's fries simply rock. Especially since they are bottomless. I ask for a basket when I order drinks.

Garlic parmesan fries at several establishments here in Nashville (Bosco's, F Scotts) are hands down the BEST.

As far as fast food, I'll go with Checkers. Always good. Haven't gone in years though.

Wendys old fries were my favorite . I do not like the new ones at all.

Wendys in my opinion has went down hill a lot in last year or 2 and I ate there about 3 weeks ago for the last time. only thing that kept me there was I loved the fries

Mine too. General rule of thumb is that the fries will suck if they come in a drinking cup.

I've always thought McDonalds were the best, but looks like I'm going to have to try Five Guys and Chik-Fil-A too.

I think Snuffer's in Dallas has the best fries. The bacon cheese fries are about the best fries you'll ever put in your face:

The best onion rings I've ever had are at a place up here in Bellevue called Broiler Bay. They are literally the perfect onion rings. So good.

Get out of my head :bang2:

Problem with most chain fries is they are drowning in salt to make sure you buy a big drink. Red Robin are good and bottomless, if you are really hungry, they will bring them to you right when you sit down. Carls Jr/Hardees feels they have to keep changing the style of fries every six months. Sometimes they are good and sometimes not so much. I honestly dont get the love for McDonalds fries, maybe the most over rated fries of all time. Usually after you eat them, you can feel a film of grease on your teeth.

I used to bus at RR and when it was getting to the end of my closing shift I would ask one of the cooks to make me a batch. I then proceeded to go in the storage closet in the back and scoff those babies down.

ewww...5 guys fries are nasty.

It's all about the Fuddruckers wedge fries. The best, imo.

Homemade handcut ones, a little bit of work but way better than fast food or frozen.

Five Guys cuts their fries daily. They post where they got the potatoes from on a white board in the lobby.

Five Guys
Chick-fil-a
McDonalds/Arby's curly fries

Bojangles has pretty good fries. Trouble with McDonalds is the quality, it's hit or miss and the 2 right by me don't ever have them tasting as they should.
