Man I thought it was such a sloppy effort by Dallas. The only positive I took away was that with this new OL configuration maybe we can run the ball effectively. I think this was a great matchup for us and it was great to get the road W. But until we beat or at least look competitive against a contender I’m not a believer.
This is not a SB team period.

That's your opinion and you don't make the rules but you clearly justify making up your own. Vigilantism
It certainly is an opinion, but I do get to make up the rules and you were being obtuse. That's my final ruling. You are GUILTY and sentenced to being ridiculed until further notice.

Hit the breaks, sunshine. That was an ugly game that the Cowboys were fortunate to win.

The offense couldn't finish drives because Dak kept throwing interceptions. That's not acceptable.

Zimmer piecemealed enough defense to hold the Steelers to 17 points all game. Despite the injuries, the defense was the biggest factor in the win.

Mistakes and penalties are still preventing this team from being all they can be. An ugly win is better than any loss.
I wonder how Mahomes has more interceptions in less games.

The irony is that defense meshed without parsons and dlaw
coincidentally, we lost tank for like 2 months during parsons rookie year, and i thought the defense was toast. they wound up stepping up in his absence and playing extremely well. and then when he came back went to another level. would be cool if that was the case once more.

This was the first game all year where I saw a truly cohesive football team out there.

The defense made the routine look routine, tackled, and stood tall in the big moments even with their three best ends out and starting a backup at corner.

The offense found a way to run the ball against a strong Pittsburgh front, even with injuries along the line. Dowdle and Tolbert carried this offense all night which was great to see.

Dak played a good game on all but 3 plays where he was reckless with the ball. Without the turnovers, this isn’t even close. Those two interceptions were unacceptable YOLO balls by him, but he was absolutely nails on that last drive. This was a classic maddening Dak Prescott performance.

For the first time this season, I was proud to be watching Dallas play. They looked like an actual team. I still think this is an average-below average team, but I was glad to see them play a buttoned up game against a quality opponent.
The blocking adjustments made us an above average team. The guys on defense also demonstrated how much better we are when we play our assignments and work withing the system. If we get some guys back injury and maintain those things it could be interesting.

Maybe that's what they needed? That's a sign of bad leadership.

Did you read the rules of this forum about civil discourse? It's not nice to accuse me of lacking reading comprehension. But something tells me you couldn't care less about being nice.

You are incorrect about this being a below-average to average team. Now at 3-2, the Cowboys are literally in the top one-third of teams in the league. Maybe you don't understand how bad the rest of the league is. 10 teams have the same record and 17 have a worse record. That means only 5 teams have a better record.
Yeah, I don’t care about being nice to someone acting like a tool for literally no reason.

I agree super fun to watch amazing effort from almost everyone. Diggs was unwatchable as usual. He stands out like a sore thumb. Reminds me of j smooth just visibly avoiding contact everywhere with 10 other guys just killing themselves.

Rico and Tolbert fantastic. Zeke unwatchable and lamb a no show.

Overshown awesome again.

Parsons and d Flaw not missed at all.

I liked the tackling for the most part . Guys like Golston invisible and did Damone Clark play ? Or is he out of the three LB rotation ?
Clark is terrible and I’m glad he is not playing

Thought he was one of our biggest liability’s last year

Zero instincts or play recognition

If you can't be nice then say nothing. ;)
You’re the one that came into this thread with an attitude for no reason. You may now have the last word it it will make you feel better, because I’m done responding to you.

Cohesion, when it is 12 minutes-something in the 3rd quarter and the score is 6-3? At that point, the Defense was doing its job, but to only have 2 field goals on offense at that point of the game. It was a great game in the way it ended, but the offense was very bad for for most of the game. This is what annoys people with much of the board, is the way that some people try to paint things grander than they were instead of keeping it real.

HAHA they keep showing Xavier Worthy’s mom that he gave the ball to but I think the Troy doesn’t want to guess if it’s his mom or girlfriend and is waiting for more info.
