Interesting tidbit from NFL.com

Good character type, smart and a respected leader (coaches gave him the key to the training room to conduct workouts for him and his teammates) and even served as a substitute teacher

how do you feel about michael bush? I am curious.

Good call on Steinback. With the lisfranc injury he might last till the 6th or 7th. Sounds like a good athlete, though.

And thanks for the info on the local broadcasts, theebs.

Josh Beekman (82) (NFL.Com)In his last three years as a full-time starter, he never allowed a quarterback sack

WOWWW

I don't know about that, they just showed him up against Tank Tyler twice last year and he got owned both times, both for sacks.

I think thats some bad info you got there, cause he was getting abused by Tank.

The rod in his leg is scary, but as Goose said in his last interview with Norm, he has first round talent. For a team like the Boys, who can afford to wait an entire year(and IMO that would be best with this guy) i'd take the chance with the second 4th. Maybe even trade up with that second 4th, a 6th and a couple 7s. If you hit on him, he replaces JJ next spring and we don't need to take a RB when JJ leaves, because i think we let him walk. So yes, i'd do it but i'd make darn sure he's fully healed before he does an contact because that tape he sent out to teams didn't look like a guy that was ready to do anything major anytime soon.

little o/t but nfl networks schefter, mooch and mayock said moss will only go to new england he said, apparently he will restructure his deal to go there and they are thinking a 5th round pick is going to send randy moss to new england tomorrow.

Have to be kidding me. How good is that team going to be.

So basically they'll have Stallworth and Moss on the outside and Welker working the slot.

Oh yeah, Brady has to be hating life right now.

plus watson streaking down the middle of the field, kyle brady basically another run mauling offensive lineman as a blocker and kelly washington and reche caldwell.

When they roll in here we had better have one hell of a crowd and game plan.

No kidding? I'd still love to get a C/G. Can he play Center?

Tanard Jackson played CB as well as S at Syracuse. Wouldn't mind putting him in our secondary. He was projected as a 2nd rounder by some scouts. I also like A. Allison of East Carolina at WR in the 4th or P. Solai at NT. Those are the early day 2 picks I like. However, I think Jerry Jones likes T. Brown the corner from Texas and I wouldn't be shocked if he is a day 2 pick for Dallas.

From NFL.com(NFL draft scout.com actually)
Compares To: Jason Brown -- Baltimore … Like Brown, Beekman generates an explosive punch to shock and jolt the defender. He has very good initial quickness off the snap and the lower body strength to push the pile, but lacks the timed speed and balance to be consistent attacking second-level defenders. He does a very good job of driving the defender off the line and his low center of gravity and quick hands could see him eventually slide to center at the pro level.

I think I just had an accident. I know who I want at 103. I love BC linemen and we might have 3 of them. Can you say camaraderie?

Norm said the same thing in his interview with Marten. Bring on your buddy Beekman:D I'm all for another OLman in the 4th.

Beekman's my number one choice.

I doubt we go back to back with Oline picks, but who knows?

I like Soliai, but Beekman sounds versitile and while all the other remaining CBs sound like chaff to me, Alabama St. CB Michael Coe is intriguing. Son of a coach, he gave up his Arkansas scholarship and transfered to his father's team after problems with Houston Nutt's staff. Here's a story on how it went down:
