Best KR in this draft?

Figurs could be a day two pick that would fill that role.

Ginn is the obvious choice but he may not be there.

I'd have to go w/ Ted Ginn Jr

#2 though, Johnny Lee Higgins Jr - UTEP.

he should be there 2nd-4th round. KR/PR, good hands, excellent speed

Go Cowboys

i see a lot of you guys are saying figurs but is he good enough to replace 1 of the WRs we have on the team? having a guy take up a roster spot on game day just to be our punt returner doesnt seem like something we would do..

Yamon Figurs? (sp)
I watch this guy during his entire career. If Green was worth a 4th to us then this guy is as well. He is a much better WR than Green was and is every bit the return why Green was if not better. We could do much worse. I believe he was the fastest 40 for WR's at the combine.

Steve Breston was a pretty good punt returner in college. Look for the Cowboys to give Breston a look in the draft...good value pick!

I'd say that Higgins lacks the size to be a solid #3 (compared to Crayton), but he will go across the middle and does have to burst to break away. Physically he's about the same size as Terry Glenn...and Glenn isn't getting younger.

LSU WR Craig Davis
Northwestern CB Marquice Cole
Kansas State WR Yamon Figurs
Michigan WR Steve Breaston
Miami (OH) WR Ryne Robinson
Maryland CB Josh Wilson
Utah S Eric Weddle

I like this guy. He's a very smart player who i think would help out in nickel situations and PR as well .

It would be nice to get a great PR that was a CB, because I like our young guys at WR, but we could use an upgrade in our CB depth replacing N Jones.

I totally agree that they are two separate positions.

We already have two KR's Austin and Thompson and need a solid PR.

I hold my breath evey time Newman goes back for a punt.

After Ginn, it's definitely Figurs. Figurs ran a 4.3 flat at the Combine. He competed against Devin Hester in high school track and beat him.

Eric Wright CB/U.N.L.V. is a really good CB who has fallen to probably the second round due to some off field issues . He's also a good punt returner . Played for USC in the National Championship game but got the boot the following year because XTC was found in his roommates bed room . Probably should be a first round player , but won't !
if we go wr in the first rnd, wright is the guy i would love in the 2nd. decent return guy but good cover guy. kept his nose after the usc deal and can flat out fly. the problem is to get wright in the 2nd i think we will have to trade up to the top of the 2nd

Don't even think about it...If he's there pick him and be very happy!

Agreed ! I like Wright a lot and have him down as our second round pick in my mock draft in the draftzone . We will be lucky for him to be there though . I'd love to see Dallas add some speed to the team and get Ginn and Wright in rounds one and two . We'll be real lucky if either are available though .
