I have only seen Crash of his top 10 and it was very good. I also saw Cinderella Man off his honors list and it was quite excellent.

Its almost generic to be a film snob and say movies suck but it doesnt mean its also not accurate. I am pleasantly suprised when I dont see a bad movie.

I am hopeful for Syriana and Munich which are 2 and 3 on Ebert's list and plan to see them soon. Not sure about a Cowboys love story but hear brokeback Mountain is great.

I saw Hustle and Flow, Lord of War, Walk the Line and Sin City and thought all were good.

Walk the Line
Crash
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Cinderella Man

I have seen all 8 of these movies. I liked them all. I recommend them all. Each one if pretty different, so I think you could find one that meets your taste.

I haven't seen it yet but the movie I wanted to see about as much as any other is the one I just rented. Serenity.

I also want to see Kong and Narnia.

Best one I have seen was probably Sin City.

LOL, Return of the King was in 2003.

I want to see 40 year old. I have heard it was hilarious.

Do yourself a favor and buy the special edition DVD...especially if you have surround sound.

WOW.

Can't think of 10 good movies that I've seen.

Batman Begins
Harry Potter
Star Wars 3 I guess
Mr. & Mrs. Smith

Only ones I can remember making me want to buy the DVD really.

Haven't seen Cinderella Man, Walk the Line, or King Kong (probably tonight)yet.

Ones that were ok:
Constantine
40 year old virgin
Red Eye
Sin City I guess (parts I liked a lot, as a whole, not so much)
Charlie and the Chocolate factory (thought I'd hate it, Depp was good)

One I thought I'd really like, but almost hated:
The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. Poor film making to the extreme.

I went and saw Serenity and really enjoyed it but I was also pissed when they canceled the TV series.

1. Goodnight and Goodluck
2. King Kong
3. Walk the Line
4. Cinderella Man (thought it would be depressing and boring, but is truly great.)
5. Batman Begins (special points for making everything seem so plausible -- even the bat signal.)
6. Syriana
7. Capote
8. Serenity
9. Sin City (very enjoyable, but kind of style over substance in some parts.)
10a. A History of Violence
10b. Palindromes

My little 4 year old neice swears by Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, but she also periodically thinks she's a monkey, so take with salt.

Never saw Crash (disregarded it for some reason) and I'm looking forward to Munich a lot.

I was a big fan of the series also. Hopefully they'll revive it on Sci-Fi.
