I’ll age myself but here goes . Curt Gowdy a Wyoming native I believe , did AFL football for NBC back in the Jets Joe Namath and Oakland Raiders KC Chiefs wild rivalry days .

During baseball season he was pure magic doing the “ Game of the Week “ Saturdays for NBC . Him and and sidekick Tony Kubek the ex Yankee player were a great combo .

Those were the days my friend we thought they’d never end …
