Best Player in the draft

Seems like most people believe that Quentin Nelson is by far the best and the safest player in the draft. If so and there is an early run on QBs, what if Nelson fell to 10th or 11th. Would Dallas trade up with there 2nd to get him. You definitely would have the best line in football for years to come but it does say you are not picking again until #81.

Really don't think it would happen but it will depend on free agency. Say we signed Sammy Watkins or Allen Robinson at WR, traded a conditional pick for Earl Thomas (2019 2nd or 3rd), signed Wilkerson at DT/DE, resign Lawrence and Hitchens, then extend Martin. Then I could see it as a definite type play for Dallas.

Nelson is elite.

Doubt he falls but I wouldn’t be upset if we made a move for him (always depends on cost/situation).

Would piss myself if he fell to us at 19 and scream to take him.

But we shouldn’t trade up for an OL.

I just don't believe the position is worth a top 13 pick and giving up multiple picks is even less desirable to me. History is on my side on this as well. We have the best LT of the decade, the best guard in a decade thus far, and a top 5 center; we don't absolutely need another all world player at LG as fun to see as it may be. Due to the strength of our OL we should be fine with the second best guard in the draft...

They better not.

Nelson will probably fall in the draft. Not all the way to #19 but it's pretty far fetched that a team takes him in the top 10. DeCastro fell. Martin fell to us. It's just not a highly valued position at least not like some of the other positions.

I think he could be a real possibility to be drafted anywhere outside the top 10.
