I'm buying my husband tickets to a Cowboys game as a gift - if you could sit anywhere in the stadium, where would you want to be? Thanks for helping a clueless wife!

That depends on how much you are going to spend...however, don't worry! There is not a bad seat in Texas Staidum! You can clearly see the field from every seat. I've been there at least 12 times and I had the cheapest seats I could get and never had a complaint! If I had a choice, I like seats at the 50 yard line, in the upper sections, on the Cowboys side of the bench.

Good luck...

I prefer seats in the upper deck. I like seeing the whole field. The best on the upper deck are in 123-131. And the really, really good seats on that level are 125-129. Those are behind the Cowboys bench. However, the same logic applies when you look at the seating chart and see the seats behind the visitors bench.

I had season tickets for 4 years, changing from the lower endzone rows to the upper deck. My preference was the upper deck, between the 20 yard lines. Of course, the closer you can get to the 50 yard line the better, but, the upper deck is great because you can see the whole field.

Another tip: Take an earphone radio and binoculars. You can listen to the local radio broadcast of the game (FM I think) and that will help to jkeep up with what is happening on the field, and, of course, the binoculars are great to check out the cheerleaders. Oh wait, you'll need some binoculars also to check out Romo's butt when he is on the side line.

The best seats are of course as close to the 50 yard line as possible (sec 127-128). Don't get seats closer than about row 10 or 15. At that point you really can't see the plays develop and the players start to block the view. Right around row 20 was great last year.

I have been all over Texas Stadium, including the luxury Suites on the 50 yd line which was awesome....not to mention all the Crown Royal and free food.

However, it is better sitting with the fans and screaming for the team........and louder.....but, it is all good.

Just get in the stadium! It is great.......

thanks for the info guys. im looking at taking a trip as well.
