Will the Eagles rebound from yesterday's loss and beat the Cowboys? The last 7 teams to play the Seahawks lost the following week.;)

Let's make it 8 :igglestrophy:

Interesting stat. That Seattle defense can have some lasting effects. We are going to crush the Eagles.

I think the things to consider are...

This team was revenge on the eagles for them getting stomped.

The team wants redemption from playing so bad last time vs the eagles.

This team is undefeated on the road.

This team is not coming off a 3 day turn around like last time and add to that coming back from a London trip prior.

This team is not going to overlook the eagles, if they did prior.

They know they need this game to get a chance to get into the playoffs.

Of course none of that means much.

They have to play the game.

I think it all means a lot. It doesn't mean we will win, but it's always easier when your the team that knows what's coming and also wants/needs revenge. We're the team who has to change things up leaving the Eagles clueless as to what we'll do. I don't see them changing anything up why fix what killed us. I have Dallas winning this in a tight game, for the reasons you listed

You bring up an interesting point about the London game.....I wonder if that had any effect on the Thanksgiving debacle?

I always kind of figured with the bye after the trip that was ample time to recover from such a long trip... but this schedule sure has been wacky to say the least...so maybe that had some kind of effect. As fans...we may never know. But something sure wasn't right about the Cowboys on Thanksgiving.

The London game was about 3 weeks prior to the Eagles game. I would hope that didn't have an effect.

I'm pretty sure teams that play the Cowboys have a losing record the following week.

Doing a rough look back I think teams are 2-10 the week/game after they played us.

The saints and cardinals being the only winners the following week.

Romo played in that London game. He should not have but he did.

That is an extra week (with the bye after) that he could have healed up.

I still don't know if he is 100%

If he would have set for the London game and not played until the birds game does that mean we would have won....The way the rest of the team played I would say probably would have still lost.

I think the combination of the quick turn around and the eagles fast paced offense along with a prime time game at home...perfect recipe for a butt whoopin

In my opinion, I think not getting back to Dallas until 6 am Monday then playing Thursday afternoon had more of an effect than people realize. I just know how much my *** drags for a few days after being up all night even if I catch up on my sleep over the next couple of days. Not saying that was THE reason for their play, just a significant one.
