Give me your thoughts. I'm booking a private room at a steakhouse in Vegas for a bachelor party. Any opinions? I was thinking of the following:

Carnevino (Mario Batali)

Delmonico (Emeril Lagasse)

CUT (Wolfgang Puck)

Charlie Palmer Steak

I've never been to any of these, but they appear to pop up on the "best of" lists.

A friend in Vegas tells me Cut. I haven't eaten at any of them.

Don't bother. Bob coming out of a cake is lousy entertainment.

I can close my eyes if steak is involved...

I've eaten at both of these and I can say that the steaks are off the chart. at Cut we had the Dry aged Filet and they were so tender, at Delmonico again I had the filet not sure how it was aged, but it was also awesome the biggest difference imo was taste. Delmonico used different spices in their cooking process. you really can't go wrong at either, but whichever you choose will cost you.

Charlie Palmer Steak would be my 1st choice followed by Delmonico's.

BTW, my little sister is the Marilyn Monroe at The Plaza's "The Rat Pack is Back" show. She also does private appearances for bachelor parties, b-days, corporate functions etc.

Her name's Jami Edwards and here's her website with her booking info, in case y'all might be interested.

Thanks, guys. As I suspected, it looks like a "you can't go wrong" type decision.

You're a chef, right? And you have connections to LV? In other words, your word should be definitive, no?

Wow, she has an amazing resemblance in those shots. Very cool.

Yup, I'm a chef, and I do have a little knowledge on Vegas, but really no more than any other guy who's been there 1/2-a-dozen times or so.

I chose Palmer's, because it's always been consistent every time I've been, and I like the atmosphere.

Thks Hos, I know she's worked really hard at perfecting her act with voice/acting lessons and the like.

She doesn't take herself too seriously though, and when she's out-of-character, she's a lot of fun to be around. Our sense of humor's are equaly warped, thanks to our Dad! ;)
