Best team right now?

I have no idea. But this is the time of year is usually when we start finding out. History shows that the teams that get red hot early often fade while a good team that is currently 6-4 is more likely to get hot at the right time and carry that to a SB. Examples-

• 2021- Rams were 6-4 last yr and were the #4 seed. Got hot and took it all the way to a Lombardi.
• 2020- Bucs were 7-5 and didn’t win their division. And they were a 5 seed. All the way to a SB.
• 2019- chiefs were 6-4…you get the picture.

Why bring Dallas into the debate? Has nothing to do with them. OP asked for the best teams in football. Dallas is not one of them regardless of schedule strength.

Playing devils advocate. Is their schedule really that easy?
Vs top 10 teams (ESPN).
Eagles have 2 wins - Minneola 3. Dallas 9.
chiefs only have 1 win - 49ers 8
bills have 3 wins - Chiefs 1.Ravens 6. Jets 10.

They have three more games coming up against top 10 teams.

I think fans are considering teams that were good in 2021 as still being good now… That’s just not a true assumption.

hard to say which team is best, just who are the teams doing the best.

I know you guys dont like it, but the eagles and Minnesota are the best right now.
their records are the best.
What it seems like to me is this year is weird in that there are no obvious elite teams.
They all seem slightly weak this season. parity accomplished.

It really is week to week. Some team gets on a hot streak, then they are the class of the NFL, until they lose a game.

I will throw out a team that no one gave a chance to do anything. Not in the off season or the start of the season...probably not even now....

There’s no dynamic team right now, but I would have to say KC would be the best at the moment. They’ve won three in a row, including wins over San Francisco and Tennessee.

Well...since the QB plays all 11 positions on the field at all 3 phases...and since Super Bowls are the only reasonable metric regarding QBs...

I would say Tampa Bay in the best team in football.

Bills - think they have the best overall team just going through a slump

Eagles - argurably one of if not the best OL and defense playing great. Cake walk schedule.

Vikings - stout offense minus the OL which has always been lackluster. Secondary is trash and one of the worst. Honestly suprised with their 8-1

EaGirls defense has same issues as we do. They are good at defending the pass but their run defense is bad. Their rush defense is ranked worse than ours.
