'95 cowboys? 10 Probowl players, 6 Future HOFers. 7 if you rightfully count woody.

There is one ground rule to keep in mind. To prevent this from becoming just a countdown of 1960s Packers, 1970s Steelers and recent Patriots, each team chosen casts a five-year "shadow." So the 2004 Patriots also represent the 2003 Patriots, the 1998 Broncos represent the 1997 team, and so on.

92/93/95 cowboys team all ranked together.

1991 Commanders - played Jerry Glanville's Falcons, and Wayne Fontes's Lions in the NFC playoffs.
Not exactly tough competition or quality playoff winning coaches.
Not only that, the Commanders did nothing during the 1988-1990 seasons, and after 1991 they stunk.

The five-year "shadow" methodology by the author ignores that the 92 Cowboys (and the 93 Cowboys and 95 Cowboys) had to face such teams in the playoffs as the 49ers of Steve Young (1994 super bowl winning team), Brett Favre of the Packers (1996 super bowl winning team), the devastating Eagle defenses in the 1992, and 1995 playoffs, and the resiliency and talented Bills teams in two consecutive Super Bowls.

91' Commanders - defiantly an outlier as a top team in the Super Bowl era.
What a joke.
Hell, I take the Giants teams under Parcells in 1986 and 1990 as a superior team to the 91' Skins.

The '92 defense will never receive the credit they deserve. Ranked number 1 in yards allowed, 1st downs surrendered and only the 3rd unit in the entire league to hold their opponents under 4000 yards of offense since 1980.

They also, you know, forced NINE turnovers in the Super Bowl.

And unprecedentedly fast unit that changed the way modern defense was played.

People focus on the hall of gamers we had on offense from those teams and completely forget what a dominating defense they had.

That's a great pool of players to build a roster from. You'd be hard pressed to find better depth than those years.
What about all-time franchise teams? Second only to, and arguably, the Steelers.

Lol all teams ranked together?

Maybe the dynasty didn't last as long as some other dynasty's but you can make a valid argument they were the most dominant team in NFL history over any 4 year span.

10th is pretty pathetic. I doubt they factor this in but that team in the 90s can be directly credited with the surge in NFL popularity.

I will never respect this Patriots dynasty.

Caught cheating multiple times. Won so many championships off of fluke plays (tuck rule), field goals, and their last two should have been lost if not for complete all-time melt downs from the opposing coaching staffs. Seriously, Seattle had that game won. Atlanta had that game won. Instead of being 5-2, Brady should be 3-4.

And don't even get me started on how easy a road they've had the last two Super Bowl wins. They had literally the easiest schedule in the league this year, so they got a bye and home field advantage. Then they play a TERRIBLE Texans team because the Raiders lost their QB. Then they play the Steelers, who lost their best player on the first series. Then they get whipped by the Falcons for 3 quarters, and then the Atlanta coaching staff lose their minds.

I've never hated a football team as much as I hate this cheating, unclassy, all time lucky, cocky and overrated Patriots team. With apologies to the Commanders, the 70s Steelers, the 90s 49ers, the 00s Eagles, and the current Giants... I hate the Patriots more than all of them.

That one stood out to me too.
