I think you're slightly exaggerating this.

I agree. If Romo can stay healthy they have some solid years ahead if they can find a pass rush and not break the bank on resigning guys like McClain and Dez. RB doesn't worry me at all unless they spend a bunch on Murray. I'd rather they roll with a cheap posse of replacements.

If Romo declines they are in for some lean years. Heck, the entire NFC East could be looking for starting QBs in the next 3 years. I only include the Giants because there are whispers about Manning long term.

Let Murray walk, we need another #2 receiver, TE position is fine, QB is fine, defense needs big time infusion of new talent such as de, DT and cb. We need two DL starters from this upcoming draft. Might be tough to get from where we will be picking.

Nice summary. Get us a few stars on D line, and shore up CB / secondary and we can be very competitive

Gonna take some hits in FA, but then we're going to add some players, too. There's a huge opportunity and a huge need to improve the defensive talent. That's going to make this team a lot more competitive, overall, in the next few years.
