Despite Jones wasn't able to be on the card, this card delivered. Very satisfied with the entire card from top to bottom.

I still think AJ would of taken it to Jones, but Cormier is a bad matchup for AJ.

My favorite fight of the night had to easily be Arlovski vs Browne.

Arlovski put on a war! Well done. Also Rumble is one of the classiest fighters in the entire organization. To put the belt on your opponent after you've just lost earns alot of respect.

It was a great card. Dc just better keep in mind the only reason he has the belt is because jones messed up. He would never beat jones.

It would have been as lopsided as the Vegas odds on the fight. Cerrone wouldn't have won a single round on any scorecard.

He might beat cerrone but he wouldnt run him over like your thinking. that fight will still happen though thats the good thing. I might eat my words on that fight but you might too. lol agree to disagree.

I think they'll eventually fight but you never know with injuries. Cerrone will fight the champ next.

Cerrone is a local guy for me so I love him to death as a fighter but he won't be able to beat Khabib. Khabib would wrestle and stranglehold him for 15 minutes.

Rumble can beat anyone with that power. But that's all he has. He would have to knock out Jones early or get beat in similar fashion as last night.

Issue with the Jones fight is that Jones tends to try and beat his opponents at what they are good at to prove a point. His narcissism always comes out in every fight now that he has been champ. In the case he tries to outbox/outstrike AJ , I could easily see AJ putting the lights out.

The fight against Cormier could of easily been over in the first with that overhand that Cormier ate. Big props to DC for surviving that one. He also ate quite a few large shots before it hit the ground. Many fighters would of gotten knocked out by AJ in that instance.

AJ has great takedown defense and did very very well against Phil Davis in that regard. His TD defense isn't as poor as advertised last night. I think it was a product of Cormier excelling in the ground game + AJ using his high kicks where DC took advantage.

I like both men as fighters honestly, and I still believe both can beat Jones. Jones can lose to Gustaffson/DC/AJ . Will he? Debatable. But these fights are not cakewalks for the former champ.

Also I was incredibly frustrated watched the Uriah Hall vs Natal fight.

Natal in no way shape or form deserved that W.

Cerrone is very good with submissions, even off his back, which is where the challenge would be.
That would/will be a great fight IMHO.
The Russian is no joke but Cerrone stays busy and has a length advantage.

Cerrone's specialty is the triangle choke and he lands that on wrestlers all the time.

yup. Jones has everything DC does and a lot more versatility.

Jones has an endless gas tank, a vast repertoire of strikes and is the most dangerous guy in the world on top of you with those elbows.
It appears Jon has demons that may derail him, but Rumble isn't going to.
A more comfortable at 205 Cormier might.

Rumble can knock anyone out but he isn't ready to go deep into fights and he doesn't have the cardio for the guys who withstand his big shots.

Cormier and Bones both block a lot of punches and know how to survive facing elite level strikers.

My first favorite MMA fighter was Arlovski and that seems like 20 years ago.

To see him get back on track like this is just awesome.

I have some old affliction shirts of Arlovski in the closet, lol.

Me too lol. I remember when he had to be security for one of those Maury type of shows before his comeback.

Great night of fights. I enjoyed this card very much.

Easily the best fight to watch was Brown vs. Arlovski.

That one had us out of our seats multiple times.
