Pretty sure I've attended my last live NFL game. I could pay that much for tickets, but I won't. I'd rather buy a new TV to watch from home.
I would make an exception if Dallas gets to another Super Bowl before I'm too old (or dead) to attend.
I promised myself that about 20 years ago...still waiting.
Yeah much better way to spend the $$$. I liked going to the games, but at times it could be a hassle. At Texas Stadium with the parking or long walks. But at the new stadium I never had an issue.
I got lucky as I worked out of town or the state, so sold many games. But that too was a hassle, waiting to recoup the $$$.
I did not lose any $$$ overall once I started selling the tickets though. I made enough to pay for the PSL's and seats and parking. Plus went to a few games a year.
But I can see why now, as to why it is better to save the $$$. I split the tickets with a friend from 2007 through 2010. Then he had to back out. That was when I started traveling for my work. Sold them in 2016. It was like a weight lifted off of me. Never regretted it. I retired early in late 2014. I could have kept the seats, but did not want to. I had some expensive seats. At the time, $340 each face value, had 2 seats.
I would like to go to a game, but at my price. I want near the same section, but will not pay full price. Wait and look for last minutes deals. I can leave my house and be in the section I was in in less than 30 minutes. Made it in 20 minutes one time, waiting on a friend, for her to get ready.
