During the offseason we aquired two players who have become HUGE parts of our defense, One being the now leader- Keith Brooking, and the other being Strong Safety- Gerald Sensabaugh, a majority of a time a big play went down today, Gerald was there.. Im under the belief had Gerald not toughed it out and pat Watkins started in SS, I don't think this win would've been as decisive, and maybe we wouldn't have won at all.

On the other hand Keith is a team leader and a huge part of our defense every game.


So who is it?

Sensabaugh or Brooking

I say Sensabaugh since the people under him are complete garbage.

In defense of Brooking according to your argument, who would come into the game if Brooking got hurt?

Brookings, hes firing up this team and knows how Wade's 3-4 works, he knows where to be and who to tackle. You have to like his fired up attitude, his ability to take charge and that he is surplanting himself in this team and the fans.

Sensabaugh, while being good, and quite, is doing his job and doing it well.

One is a quiet guy, the other firey and emotional, right now you need leadership and someone to spark this D and hold em accountable.

Don't forget about Igor... Has Canty done anything in NY? and Burnett has a bum ankle..

Well Igor is the only one who can stay on the field...but he's nearly as effective as Canty was and for way cheaper. He also brings a bit more of a nasty streak which helps this defense IMO.

We ended up having a good offseason afterall. I thought it was pathetic to be honest. We got Buehler in the draft. Got Decamillis as special teams coach. Igor, Sensabaugh and Brooking. That's 3 starting positions we upgraded over last season.

True, when you point it out in that black and white we really had a fantastic off season, did we get much in the draft, no not really but we still improved our defense immensely and we now have one of the best ST in the NFL.
