There were two things that were discussed all off season. The mental toughness and focus on the penalties, and the physical and mental toughness not to get bullied by your opponent. Neither one was on display Sunday.
The coaches failed in their preparation and the team failed in its execution. Soft coaching leads to soft teams, and soft teams do not fare well when they're punched in the mouth. Sadly if this is not addressed we will suffer a similar fate as last season.
