Better move? T.O. to Dallas or Moss to N.E.?

Sorry guys... I meant as far as player to help franchise? which one is better? (not cost and draft picks)

except that should come into play.

Nope.

But I bet money right now if you lined up TO and Moss and made them run a 40...Moss would win.

His ability did not diminish in Oakland...his heart did in that cesspool.

Plus...I don't care too much about NE, I do the Cowboys and I think I have been on record as never wanting TO here in the first place.

Here we go with the 40 time argument... come on BP, you are better than that.

I'm avoiding all TO talk other than making this statement. I don't care for either guy regardless of their skills.

Didn't you hear, Moss said it himself, it was completely the Raiders fault why he was so unproductive. He was miserable because they were a bad team so he decided to make them worse by not playing hard, it makes perfect sense.
I just laughed so hard reading this... you know who i pick...:p:

I mentioned the 40 times because people, and I have heard it here and on some shows, that he has lost a step.

Randy has not lost a step in speed end of story on that one.

Ditto.

At one time I wanted Moss but not now, nor do I want TO.

I think both are punks and if TO was not on this team I would imagine 90% would think he is a punk as well.

This thread is like a powder keg about to go *boom*...

I'm not saying he has or has not but TO blew pass DeAngelo Hall (the fastest man in the NFL) with pure speed and also beat him up physically.

So simply saying Moss will beat Owens in a footrace doesn't really prove anything.

The bottom line is TO played through the season with a serious finger injury at the risk of not ever being the same whereas Moss was "healthy" and gave up on his team because of a "bad" situation.

I know this is like arguing the better of 2 bads but I think TO wins this by a nose

Owens has been better than Moss since after the 2003 season .....

I predict Moss will cost more than Owens ...... and the blowup that everyone has been expecting from here will happen in New England.

Agreed. I see both of them as multi-million talent with 10 cent brains. There is no need for their antics and many great players in this league seem to be able to produce without the BS

Dooms I know where you are coming from and I am taking TO a year at a time. He mostly behaved last year and with me that gives him another chance to behave this year. I don't know about Wade but Bill sat on him last year and I think Jerry will this year.

I guess I just expect men in their 30's to act like men. Football player or average Joe I lose patients with idiots and with TO there always has to be some drama taking place. I know many will not believe me but despite the fact I don't like him, I did not cheer against him last season nor do I want to see him fail. What I want is him to represents the Cowboys and the NFL with class

Moss is not fast and a perfect example is TNew catching him like he was standing still.

I expect to see Moss back to his old self going to NE. Moss can be great as long as his team is winning and a pain in the backside when things go south. As for speed, NE clocked him recently in the 4.2 range at least according to reports.

On April 29, 2007, the Raiders agreed to a trade with the New England Patriots, sending Moss to Foxborough, Massachusetts in exchange for a fourth-round selection, the 110th overall, in the 2007 NFL Draft (the same selection the Patriots acquired from San Francisco during day one of the draft).[20] Moss agreed to restructure his contract with the Patriots. Both potential suitors for Moss, the Patriots and the Green Bay Packers, reported that Moss ran 40 yard dash times in the 4.29 to 4.30 range during pre-trade workouts.

I have to go against the consensus and choose Moss because of the atmosphere.

Dallas is still a relatively young team with a young leader in Romo.

The Patriots are a veteran team w/a vet qb in Brady. With a well-known championship atmosphere, I really think Moss will straighten up and fly right because he knows that his HOF status is on the line and can actually see winning a championship NOW! Excellent and cheap move by the Patriots.

I still think Dallas' move was good as well in getting TO, but I don't think at this juncture he will make as much of an impact as will Moss in NE where everything is already established.

Also, this isn't comparing which is the better WR, but who will make the most difference and the better move for their team. I agree that TO is more well rounded though as a wr then Moss.

At least TO dosen't act like he is mooning the crowd
