Every year we struggle in December and January when it matters. If we ever struggle I'm happy its now so we can work out the kinks before playoffs come around. If we can fix these problems before then, I think everything will be fine. There is plenty of time to find out what we need to fix and how.

I do like some of the things we are seeing from this team.

3 of our 5 games, our running game has been outstanding, once mediocre and once terrible.

I think our up the gut run D needs to be improved and hopefully we can sort that out but I do think it will always be a weakness with Rat on the nose.

I think our understanding of coverages need to be improved. There seem to be about two blown coverages a week - hopefully this gets worked out before long.

I also thought we were finally playing coverages much tighter this week - this was sorely needed.

The tackling seemed pretty good this week, also.

The KOR coverage team needs work - sending Carp in there is a recipe for disaster. He is just not physical enough for that kind of work.

Silver lining thread, that's what this topic should be called.

And, I guess I agree...Better a December slide in October rather than December

Not expecting perfection but the team looks a lot less solid than I once believed.
