Better start scouting first round receivers

Plenty of talent on day two and beyond.

Skyy Moore, Christian Watson, David Bell, George Pickens to name a few

Drafting a WR in the first round is like putting lipstick on a pig. They can't afford to do that this year.

We gotta draft for value in the first round, needs can be addressed in other rounds. With that said, I have a feeling wideouts are the deepest first round position, so grade wise there will be a top 15 guy on the cowboys board lingering.

Cee Dee is your new #1
I totally agree and love me some CeeDee but is he really an edge guy? I think even at OU he was a slot guy,
one of the OU guys here could answer better than me but that's what I remember.
Not saying he can't perform well as the X, just saying has he ever even been that?
Seems risky. He also looks great in the slot. I think Gallup has emerged as a solid edge guy, our #2.

If it's a situation like when we drafted Lamb, I can see that. But if OLs Penning or Green are still on the board, I'd go there. Then maybe draft a WR later. I just rather go in a different direction than what we already had out last year. If possible.

Our interior OLine is super weak since Frederick retired so if they see the talent there at 24, I'm good with that pick.
