Let's be honest. The Chargers are a better team.

No excuses can be made for yesterdays loss. The BETTER team won.

I don't think the sky is falling just calling it like I see it. Maybe they can beat the Saints and go on a run.

Can someone explain the idiotic RB rotation????

Better team my ***. Dallas gave yet another game away that was winnable. One week the excuse is that our opponent is desperate, the next week our opponent is Superman. Its all just excuses.

Yep, I agree. The chargers have elite talent and that was on display in the 4th quarter. It's no accident they've won all these games in december.

We have just as much talent - but we are not as good a TEAM. And that means coaches and players.

It is what it is. This team we love to root for is nothing more than a mediocre group of players, save a few, that are clearly not as good as they think they are. Its time for a good ole fashion house cleaning.

Chargers win when it matters. They are on a 8 game win streak and I have know idea what game you watched yesterday but the Chargers were clearly:

A better coached team
A better TEAM
Have a killer instinct

All these things are what the Cowboys have lacked all year and the last 3 yrs.

We should have beaten them, though. They were ripe for the picking. I didn't see anything spectacular from San Diego yesterday. We were in that game and should've been leading most of the way. The Cowboys players don't execute and the coaches don't utilize talent properly, IMO. So yeah, San Diego was better. They calmly did what they had to do. Everything is just so hard for the Dallas Cowboys. It's painful to witness.

The better team did win, they would have scored whenever they wanted too. Our defense was incapable of stopping them and the offense is allergic to the notion of putting together drives without silly mistakes.

What happened to the "fire" this team was going to show...I have not seen this team play with emotional fire in so long I have forgotten what it looks like...who cares about the playoffs when they can not even win at HOME against a good team...

Some of the comments in this thread is one of the major reasons why our fans base is so despised.

A lot of our fans will never ever give the opponent any credit.

For some, every game we have lost this year was because we gave the game away and the other team wasn't better.

San Diego is a better team then the Dallas Cowboys and they proved it yesterday.

Right.

We had so many opportunities to win that game though.

The better team won, for sure. But if the Cowboys make simple plays at key times, the Cowboys win. Nothing spectacular, just basic plays a team at home should be able to make.

Just about every team in the NFL can say that.

However, the "good" teams seem to some how take advantage of those opportunities and "win".

We got beat by a better team, there is no shame in admitting that.

But to constantly claim that every loss was because we beat ourselves and had nothing to do with the opponent is shameful and extremely annoying.

Well said. I agree 100%.

Look there is no reason why Dallas should not have gotten that touchdown, but the Oline got mauled. Now credit does go to the Chargers for making a stand, but Dallas needed to get that TD. Folk missed yet another FG. I guarantee that if Folk didn't miss his FG, Dallas would have gone for 3 and the final drive would have been for the win instead of a desperation miracle scenario.

You say that. But do you think the Chargers play the last 5 mins to run out the clock? Face it the better team won.
The game was over when Dallas couldn't score a TD on their first drive. They needed to make an opening statement with that drive and had to settle for a FG. They lost homefield advantage at that point.

That is my point.

One of the reasons we are a mediocre team is because our kicker is struggling.

Having a kicker struggling is just like having a weak and/or untalented player.

Everytime we lose, there is a bunch of "ifs" and "would haves".

Honestly, when one of players last year (I think it was Bradie James) said after a loss that now we know that our uniforms and the star on our helmet is not enough to beat teams, that told me, some of the players have the mindset of some of the fans thinking that they are better then what they really are.

Again, no shame in losing to a better team.

We could still get hot and go on a winning streak, we just need to stop making all these excuses and give the opposition some credit.

Because you can guarantee the rest of the game plays out exactly the same if we make that kick? No way in hell.
