Better Trade down unless top 15 rated player drops

No excuses. We need more picks. I don’t care any 5th year option - even trade back to early 2nd and get a 3rd and a 4th round pick.

I listened to Fish's top 10 draft topics this morning and he said other teams have said Cowboys are exploring trade back options.

At least a 50-50 chance the Cowboys trade down.

If they trade completely out of the 1st round, they better get a haul of picks.

Im weirdly confident a stud will fall to 24…I’m equally confident we’ll pass on that player for OL.

1) To trade back you need a partner willing to trade up. Acting like its completely up to the Cowboys is dumb.

2) We dont even know who the top 15 players in the draft are right now. We can almost guarantee that at least one of the top 15 players from this draft will come off the board after our pick.

3) As another poster said, it doesn't matter the # of picks...just hit on them. Sure extra picks gives you extra chances to snag 'that' guy...but when it's all said and done, a draft that produces 2-3 starters is a great draft.
