Did anyone see the replay of the Bengals-Bucs game? They're handing out penalties for a sack of the quarterback now. Refs determined the outcome of this game.

It kind of slipped under the radar, but it was a TERRIBLE call... almost as bad as OU-Oregon.

Terrible call. I can see how the ref thinks the QB was slammed head first. But really, I am fooling myself into thinking that call was legit. It is b.s. That ref is b.s. He's always flexing when he annoiunces the penalty. His puny muscles pales in comparision to Ed Hoculi. His moustache sucks.

It's not like the QB was bodyslammed. He was taken down. Nothing dirty about it. The refs don't need to over-protect the QB. Call the head hit, the face-mask, the helmet-to-helmet, the below-the-knee, the late hit. Don't add hit-the-QB to the list.

Just like Basketball did, the NFl is little by little ruining itself. Pretty soon we'll see buff guys running around with skirts chacing eachother.

the nfl has a new rule. the qb takes the snap and has 4 seconds to throw it or it's a sack. no one rushes, they just kinda hang around the oline and sing kumba ya with each other. no one gets hurt.
next they will be looking at tackling, all those guys hitting each other could cause someone to get hurt. they are looking at flags but can't agree on a color. more to come later.......
