The idea should be to get them all on the field at the same time.

By sliding taco inside on third down or having Gregory standing up?

Dlaw can legit play both DE spots. Taco cant. He is a 5 tech. And could possibly eat his way to a 3. He has the frame for it. Gregory is a 7 quick end exclusively.

Yeah I could see taco moving inside. But I don’t know if taco will be better than Crawford inside.

I like Crawford on the inside for now. Taco could be a good insurance option if/when we can't pay D-Law next season and he walks.

Been saying for awhile that Taco ends up inside. Think that's his natural position IMO ala Justin Tuck. Built almost identical.

If D-Law gets 15 sacks and dominates the run game to his side this year, and we refuse to re-sign him over money... then I'll root for the Eagles and drive to Frisco to spit on the Star.

I have been saying it too. Speed isn't Taco's strength. It may be a better match for him inside.

It's still looking like Taco was over drafted. Nevertheless, it may be better to play Taco at DE and let Lawrence walk if Lawrence's price tag is too high.

On 3rd and long, i'd like to see Gregory-Taco-Irving-DLaw later in the season.

I think Taco could pass rush inside and be a solid base end. If you have guys that can rush the passer you gotta get them on the field

I'll already have my Wentz jersey on hold, then, provided there's no cancellation fee

You might as well go ahead and buy it now, because there is s a significant chance that happens. If you guys want to see Lawrence in a Cowboys uniform next year, you had probably better hope his sack numbers drop considerably this year.

DLaw can play both DE positions but he is basically a better pass rushing Crawford on the RDE, he is not a DWare, he does not have the skill set to beat very good left tackles. He is a much more talented Tony Tolbert.

Right. He could dominate the run game on that side, but so can Crawford so that's a waste of resources. Lawrence would probably get around 8-9 sacks a year on the right side.

But if the Eagles are trotting out Vaitai, and I don't have Gregory available, I'm DEFINITELY putting Lawrence against Vaitai instead of Lane Johnson. The fact we didn't do that last year was bizarre.

As strong and as great as Jason Peters is, I consider Gregory's speed and youth vs. Peters' age an advantage for us. Lawrence vs. Johnson is a stalemate - both are equally elite.

Taco will eventually allow us to make Crawford a cap casualty, especially if Irving balls out and we choose to keep/franchise him and pay DLaw long term.

I doubt they let him walk. They have talked a lot about “war daddy” for years

Not sure he was over drafted as we picked in the late 20's. It just takes time for a lot of these guys. It's taken Dlaw years for the light to come on.
