No.
When your team performs well, it's the exception and not the rule.
NFCE basement dunce caps since realignment...
New York- 1
Dallas- 2
Philly- 3
WASHIGTON- 8
Not only do you have the most last places finishes, you have 2 more than the other three teams combined.
Thanks for doing the leg work I was too lazy to do here. it does paint a rosey picture.
When your new coach comes in (Gibbs II) and tells the Commander fans that Dallas fans are ugly as soon as he's hired, and then every free agent that gets brought in to Washington says they learn real quickly that wining the Dallas games is the most important thing... and then half of the fans online say that they're ok going 2-14 as long as the two wins are vs. Dallas... well, it becomes clear really quickly how important playing Dallas is.
On the flip side, absolutely none of that happens on this side of the rivalry.
There is no doubt that Washington players have gotten up for the Dallas/Washington games more than the Cowboys players have.
Now, having said that... Washington is the reigning NFC East champs and Dallas will probably get up for this year's games. Particularly if the Division race looks like it is going to be between those two teams.
Something tells me though Norman is waiting more for the matchup with Odell than Dez. But it will be interesting to see how he manages Antonio before meeting both Dez and OBJ.
Don't forget the whole RomoSUCKS thing over at extreme skins board.
Not familiar? Any time you type in Romo, it "auto-corrects" to that.
Pathetic.
And you know this how? Unless you spend your days at the death star you don't know.I'm not saying it hasn't been competitive. I'm saying one team (yours) gets amped up for a game the other team (mine) doesn't really care that much about... At least not any more than any other game.
Even the fans don't really care. Philly is a big deal. New York is a big deal. Washington is an after thought.
Man, you guys should get pink slips for 'the_showstopper'. Nice job!
Yeah, great job. I say the records and accomplishments are similar as evidenced by the stats, and you guys move the goal posts and change it to last place finished. I never disputed that, my point was that for all the basement dwelling vs blue star hype, you guys have done nothing more for how "good" your team is.
And in fact, looking at 2014, your one ABOVE mediocre finish (8-8) came against the likes of the jags, rams, 9ers, saints, texans and bears.. Plus the usual nfc east suspects. Hardly an impressive lineup of teams.

It's funny that for all the hype and nothing to show for it, your argument is, we haven't done anything, but at least we sucked less.. great argument.

Norman is a strong CB. But nothing should be drawn from last season's match up vs Carolina. Dez was clearly hobbled. Not to mention Carolina'state front 7 had Romo flustered.
Hopefully both guys are healthy and they go head to head 2x this season. Should be fun to watch.
I can't wait for the Norman match ups this year. Both Dez and OBJ. And I hope he owns OBJ.
I saw all 22 from the game. Panthers got a lot of pressure on Romo even when Norman was one on one. They we shading guys underneath on Dez and doubled him in the red zone. I'm not worried about Dez asking as he had a healthy decent qb.
