Who knew. If only the WR was a little stronger.

I think he called the play and Carroll took responsibility. Just a theory which I admit I have no evidence to support, but I think that is what happened. This reinforces that theory in my mind.

Someone has to take the fall. That play call cost them a Super Bowl victory

didnt PC tell him to throw the ball? so Darrell Bevell just made a bad pass call (a slant) and put it in the hands of marginal player like Lockette. but it still was suppose to be pass and not a run?

Adam Schefter
@AdarnSchefter

The real and original AdaRn Schefter. NOT Adam Schefter
OK my bad. I actually checked the last name because I've been fooled by "Adam Schelfter" before but this is a new one.

But I still stand by my theory that the play was called by the OC. His voice would have been the one Wilson heard.

Carroll certainly acted/talked like he knew the series that was going to be called, and as head coach should bear the brunt of the criticism/discussion/second guessing.

I blame Wilson for the throws he was making in that last drive more than I blame the playcalling. He was trying his best to give the ball away and finally got it done.

This is bull. Could add a bunch of expletives to how I feel about Pete Carroll. Scumbag.

OC, play caller Darrell Bevell: "We could have done a better job staying strong on the ball" -Lockette breaking on final slant.

Bevell threw the WR under the bus.

That's true though.

The Seattle Seahawks have a reputation for being a strong and tough team.

A nobody named Butler shouldn't have outmuscled Lockette.
